Oh God, please save me this from sexiness. I mean, there is nothing more sexy than witnessing my first Korean crush—Oh Wonbin—looking all mighty fine with all the hand gestures and lip rubbing, plus one hell of a sexy smirk all in fifteen seconds. Sexiness overload, yes. Wonbin, don't make me want to molest kiss my laptop because you are just too perfect and too sexy for my words to express my feelings right now. Oh Wonbin will release his first Japanese single “C'mon Girl” on March 14th. I am watching this damn short yet super sexy teaser for the thirty seventh times and still squealing like a crazy girl over this perfect sexiness. I will have him singing this tune to me anytime, anywhere for sure. This is distracting me from finishing my assignments, seriously. Thank you God, for creating such perfection in the form of Wonbin for me to drool over.

Unfortunately, 2010 has been a year where I spent most of my time watching movies and listening to music rather than watching the great dramas of 2010. I believe that I should not rate a drama without watching it because the only drama I loyally followed in 2010 was 내 여자친구는 구미호 (My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox). I am still in love with that drama, period. I ship Dimple Couple forever.

2010 in general has been a great year in the Korean music industry and also for my own local music industry. I listen to almost every genre and although I am sticking with my bias forever—I am still open to any kind of music. I don't need anyone to bash me and my list because this is honestly what I like from 2010. I don't need any bashing or critics, because I am free to tell anyone what I like. I am free to listen to what you have to say—about your favorites from 2010.

At least I have finally witnessed my bias won awards for their excellent work in 2010. I love watching their success—and now I feel like a freaking mother to all those gorgeous boys. I also enjoy watching the success of others so let us say goodbye to 2010 and welcome 2011, in hope that it will bring even more happiness and success.

I Love You and I Love You, Oh Wonbin.

My favorite member—oh wait, make that ex-member—of FT Island finally comes back as solo artist. Like a dream, Oh Wonbin finally makes a comeback after almost two years since he left FT Island in early 2009. God granted my prayers—Oh Wonbin is finally back. I know this is super late but, I just don’t have the time to actually dedicate my heart and soul for Wonbin this week. I am so sorry.

The first time I read an article on ALLKPOP about the comeback of former FT Island member, I literally screamed in happiness (you can ask my younger sister who witnessed it). I almost got a cardiac arrest. For almost two freaking years, I have only been missing Oh Wonbin from time to time—he finally returns.

사랑해 또 사랑해 (I Love You and I Love You) is his debut single—in collaboration with Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls. But let me get this straight. He once told that the reason why he left FT Island was because of music differences—by mean, he didn’t want to go with the same flow with FT Island in terms of music anymore. But why in the world would his debut single sounds so much like something FT Island—okay, if not maybe FT Triple—would possibly do in an album? Don’t get me wrong. I love the song because it was wonderfully made but I am expecting something literally different. I am not going to argue—I love his debut single and I love him even more now that he is back—but seriously, I just don’t get it.

The single; overall it was beautiful. I love the instrumental—I literally listened to the instrumental version of the song over and over again because it is just too damn beautiful. Wonbin obviously improved drastically in rapping and singing but I am sorry to say that I love Miryo’s parts even more in this song. I am so sorry, Wonbin. Miryo is just too awesome to not be noticed. But I still love their collaboration. The music video; it was nicely made—simple and clean cut—nothing over the top, just plain and nice. I like it, in fact, I think I like it a lot.

I have mixed reviews upon this single. I mean, I freaking love the fact that Wonbin is officially back. I also love how incredibly handsome he looks nowadays—he looks as if he got younger and taller. On the other hand, his debut single isn’t really something amazing because it resembles FT Island’s songs in so many ways (let me be honest, it sounds so much like Love Letter or Lie). I do love his debut single though, I really do.

Despite all of my questions, let us all just celebrate the fact that Oh Wonbin is back. I will always love him—although the space where he used to stay in my heart (and in my purse and in my pencil case and next to my bed) is no longer his place when I accidentally fell in love with Seunghyun—and will always be his fan. The best part about this comeback however, remained to be the fact that my mom thinks he is incredibly cute.

How To Hate My Life

I miss blogging. I miss my internet life. But college is taking everything away from me. My family is taking everything away from me. I have been so busy sorting out my life - I have lost the precious times I can spend with my beloved laptop and internet connection. I have been on a bad terms with my family after a crappy argument about something even crappier than the argument itself. Right now, I am on a word strike. Not a single word. Gosh, I am bad. Yeah, I am a bad daughter. I am bad. Not that I like it. But I am bad.

This may not be relevant at all but somehow, I miss Wonbin. Why can’t I miss him when each time I wake up from sleep, I will find his face on every FT Island’s poster on my wall. Even in my purse. And even in my mobile phone. And a photo tucked nicely in my pencil case that I brought to college. And even on the bookmark I use to mark the page of the novel I read. Wonbin - no, scratch that - FT Island is everywhere right now in my life.

I need a comeback. I need a full Korean album. I need an appearance on music shows. I need an appearance on variety show. Come on, give me anything. I need this addicting dosage of FT Island. My life is up and down right now. Give me something to stabilize it. Give me a bit of something. Not rumors that worried me to hell.

I want to die when I don’t really want to.

Three Years of Treasure Island

Unbelievable how fast time could actually fly. It feels as if it was just yesterday that I first fall in love with FT Island but honestly, it has actually been three years since I have become a loyal Primadonna (okay, maybe a bit crazy and pedophilic but hey, I don’t do anything harmful…yet). For the wonderful three year celebration of FT Island’s career, I am wishing nothing but of course, happiness and even more success in the future. And maybe if they could well…come to Malaysia one day to make this Primadonna happy?

GOOD NEWS!
I finally received my THE ULTIMATE STORY OF FIVE TREASURES FT Island MBC Collection DVD after weeks. My DVD in which I ordered through a forum was detained by custom along with hundreds of other CDs and DVDs and it made me pay for tax, in which fortunately didn't cost me a fortune. The DVD however, safely sent to me by courier service today. OMG, the poster is so beautiful, and not to mention the postcards. Oh finally!

Have I watch it? YES. Do I like it? OF COURSE. Who wouldn't like eye candies in the form of shows airing through your TV completed with ENGLISH SUBTITLE? Even though the subtitle is quite Engrish at times, at least I could understand what the five boys (well, make it six because some footages included Wonbin as well) are mumbling and joking about. Halla, to watch the making of their MV and the photo shoot for Marie Claire and LITMUS are precious! So many precious behind the scenes footages, especially during the photo shoot of their third album's jacket. I should post some caps of the DVD for those who doesn't have it, should I? And now it is time for me to save more money in case FNC Music releases the DVD of FT Island's third concert, Men's Stories.

Funny, watching the DVD made me miss Hongki's bright orange hair.
The other good news is that I finally establish my fanfic blog page. I got into a serious mode of writing lately and because winglin is being a jerk with me and I can't recall my SOOMPI account's passwords and such, I decided to just have my own fanfic blog page. I posted the foreword of my first fanfic, and yeah, it's quite under construction now so please be patient. I am so happy if I could continue to write even without readers because writing is like my part-time obsession like now.

For this time though, I would only write about FT Island as the main characters first. Later, if my fanfics are acceptable, I'll write about other male celebrities too. I tried hard to follow SOOMPI style though. I'll post it there when I found my SOOMPI account's information. My first story is more angsty and drama-like because I secretly hated cheesy love comedy fanfics, so sorry.

December's Surprises.

Welcome December!
It’s already 3rd December~ time flies fast this year.
Soon, in less than a month we’ll be stepping into 2010.
I hope it’s going to be a great year, as great as 2009 as been for me.

Well, I have good news for myself.
I got my work as a tutor and a baby-sitter back again, until December 15.
Been some time since I last tutored someone after my surgery,
And it feels good to finally have something to do to kill my spare time.
Although it’s just temporary, I hope it will bring me lots of sweet memories.

My parents have plan for a family vacation this upcoming Christmas.
We always go for a family vacation on Christmas except for last year.
And considering my elder sister and her family isn’t coming along ; I am not sure whether I am excited or not.
They plan to go to Langkawi Island in Kedah and I admit it is one of the islands I really want to visit but I am not sure why I am feeling so down about it.
I am not as excited as I was back when I was younger, when I would scream in happiness whenever my family went for a vacation.
I didn’t suggest much when my parents ask for my suggestion on where we should stay, what we should do or where we should visit.
Whenever they start to talk about the upcoming vacation, I’ll go into my bedroom and pretend to be asleep even when I am not.
What is wrong with me?
Why am I acting so weird when I am supposed to be happy?

On the other hand I finally update my Facebook account after so long.
Well, I actually make a new account though.
I kinda lost my old password and I am not in the mood of gaining it back.
Can’t believe people are actually active in Facebook when I don’t like anything about that website at all.
Nothing seems to excite me about that website.
I can see my friends doing stuffs everyday but all I do was commenting to other’s wall whenever I feel like I want.
Shoot, I found it boring when everyone else is enjoying it.
Dang, what is wrong with me?
I’m sticking with blogging and Twitter better.
These two are the best for me, it suit me very well.
I am not Facebook-kind of person anymore.
Nothing about Facebook, MySpace, Friendster of anything else matter to me anymore.
Blogging expresses myself better and I’m sticking with it for a long time.

Today marks the 5th times I watched the Korean movie 해운대 (Haeundae or it is titled as ‘Tsunami at Haeundae’ in Malaysia).
The DVD with Malay/English subs has been released and I have watched it for the 5th times because my nephew, Little Hongki, was so obsessed with Tsunami lately.
He keeps on asking me to fast-forward the movie scenes to where the tsunami starts in which it bugs me a lot.
But sincerely, 해운대 is a very good movie.
At first I thought it was kind of dragging, perhaps the first one hour but soon I realized everything at the beginning tells a whole different story when the tsunami strikes the Haeundae beach.
It still scares me sometimes, to think about the huge tidal wave hitting my country, just like back in 2004.
I totally love Ha Jiwon’s marvelous performance in this movie.
She is very talented and has always been my favorite actress since I saw her excellent performance in my family’s favorite drama, 황진이 (Hwang Jini).
The storyline is very creative and touching - especially the story of the divorced couple who regain back their love during the Tsunami.
I am not going to write any spoilers here, go and watch it yourself.
It’s really good.

Ah, another thing.
I was following my mom to Carrefour last week when I entered this VCD/DVD store just for fun while my mom was busy looking over some clothes.
I almost jump in surprise when I saw the Malay subbed DVD of 찬라한 유산 (Brilliant Legady) already being sold in Malaysia!
Lee Seunggi's drama with Malay sub - the best thing ever!
It is RM69.00 and I am going to buy it.
Even more surprising, I found 3 different DVDs of FT Island’s concerts in Japan - their First Island Concert Live in Japan, their First Dream concert and the other one, I think it was the Yokohama Blitz live.
And because it is re-package in Malaysia (I think so because the DVD cover is way different), it is sold at a very cheap price of RM40.00!
Way cheaper than the Rock Prince DVD in which I bought for RM120 and here I am thinking that why is it their Japanese releases are so damn expensive!
Amazing, a small shop could sell so many Korean DVDs!
I wanted to buy the FT Island’s DVD but then again, I can’t really watch any performance with Wonbin anymore or else I'll cry.
I’m just going to save my money in case they release the DVD of Men’s Stories.
But still, I am going to get my hands on 찬라한 유산 DVD and wait patiently until 미남이시네요 DVD is releases with Malay sub.

Kill The Hair Stylist, Now.

I need to take a deep breathe.

Of all these months, I had been loving and admiring how unique and stylish Song Seunghyun’s hair is.
My mom even said he looked extremely adorable (em, super biased ajumma-fan perhaps?).
But this morning, I received the shocker of the day.

Ah, the picture was from their fan-meet even in Japan (I think).
Hell wrong with the hair.
How did it get that long over just a few months?
How did that happened?
Okay, I admit his hair color is still there,
But GOD, boy, go and cut your hair already!
It’s too long!
Go and style it back like how you have your hair styled before.
Don’t keep long hair, this noona hates it.
Your hair makes me say “OMG, what happen to his hair, did the hair straightening iron thingy caused a big riot at the hair saloon that morning or did the hair stylist got a grudge over Seunghyun that he/she made his hair looked like that on purpose?”

Okay yes, Seunghyun is still hot.
He is still handsome and not to mention how I am loving his black jacket and red tee (not to mention that familiar-looking red feather thingy pinned on his jacket).
Thank you stylist for at least, dressing him VERY WELL.
Some might now even care about his hair.
But comparing this hairstyle and the previous hairstyle he had during CROSS & CHANGE promotion, it's a big different to me.

GOD blesses Seunghyun and his other fans who are shocked to see his hair (like me).

Sorry for my aggressive words in this post but I can’t help myself from writing it.
Gosh, it is a weird hairstyle for Seunghyun.
I loved Wonbin and his long extension for 나를 사랑해 & Heaven MV,
But I can’t say the same with Seunghyun and his long original hair.
I love the ponytail WAY BETTER than this hairstyle.

It gives me headache just to think about it.

그를 죽여 버리자.
Let’s go and kill the hair stylist, now.

Seunghyun, never ever have that hairstyle in Korea or else I’ll kill you too (or maybe I’ll spare you and kill the hair stylist again!)

In the end, this post sounds ridiculous again.

HIATUS No More ; I Am BACK.

I am thinking about taking off the 2-weeks hiatus announcement.
It had only been one week ; but seriously, I am feeling way better than how I expected I would be.
This is such a relief.
I am feeling healthy ; though my feet still hurt,
The pain isn’t unbearable,
It just painful - not HELL PAINFUL,
So yeah, I am fine with that.

I AM OFFICIALLY BACK.
I am so happy to be back on blogging.
I got admitted to the hospital ward from 14th to 16th October,
And even when I got into a private hospital with good hospitality,
I was feeling worst inside the hospital.
I can’t move, I can’t eat, I felt sick all the time and everything about me just sucks.
However, the nurses were kind and very friendly,
And everything else except for me was fine.

I woke up from the surgery an hour after the surgery itself,
And the pain was like crazy,
My head felt as if someone just spun it around,
And I can’t move my body.

Thankfully, my family was there when I woke up.
It was scary inside the operation room ;
But whenever I think about my parents, I tried to act strong.
They kept on saying “you are our strong daughter”.
Well, it somehow helps.
Oh yes, I dreamt about dancing with Lee Hongki after I had been given the anesthetic, so typically random yet very interesting to think about.
Me, dancing with Hongki - even when he was known for being a bad dancer, it just sounded weird and totally out-of-this-world.

Right on the second day after the surgery,
I was taken to the physiotherapy session which at that moment was quite hard and painful.
I was force to wear special shoes and walked, with the stitches still new and bleeding.
Ah ~ even thinking about it gave me the painful feeling.
On the second day,
I was already asked to do everything, including going to the bathroom by myself,
With no help from the wheelchair at all,
And it was quite frustrating because I can’t balance myself while standing up straight just yet.

The doctor came and saw me on the third day after the surgery,
And he told me that I could go back home after the physiotherapy.
I was damn happy,
To know that I could finally go back home!
The physiotherapy session was a lot easier on the last day,
And I could walk better than on the day before.

Now that I am home,
I can’t move a lot or else my feet will swell.
I can walk, but I have to limit my movement.
Tomorrow I’ll be going to the hospital for another physiotherapy session (the third one out of the 12 session scheduled for me) and for dressing, to clean my old bandages and put on a new on.
I am feeling way better now,
And I can already walk without anyone’s help right now.
The only thing that bugs me is that I still can’t stand up straight, no matter how hard I tried.
And the other thing - I am currently taking three kind of pills as medication, and one of it made me drowsy each time after I taken it.
Not to mention I am facing hair loss dilemma ever since I came back from the hospital.

Ah ~ I can’t believe so many updates regarding FT Island happen when I was being hospitalized.
They released Lie a day before I went for the surgery, You Are Beautiful OST was released on the day I went for the surgery (gosh, Wonbin sounds girly on the song he sang with Miss $, I was slightly disappointed because I love the song by 9th Street more), Jonghoon and Seunghyun took part in a fashion show (Seunghyun got the height and the look, I got to admit), Hongki and Seunghyun taken part as ambassadors for Gangwon-do (though it stated FT Island, only the two of them were photographed and I am loving every photos to bits) and now FT Triple (Lee Jaejin, Choi Jonghoon & Choi Minhwan ONLY) have released the teaser of their song, Love Letter.
Wow ~ FT Triple sounds good ; though the 3 of them are the least favorite members of FT Island for me, they are good.
Got to love the headband on Jonghoon - he pulls it greatly.
They just kept on getting busier this October.
Somehow, I feel like their mother and I am worried about them.
After seeing a radio show picture of Seunghyun, looking rather thin (is he losing weight?), I am just so worried about them.
It is good to get more exposure,
But it is NOT good to get more exposure and get sicker each day.

For those who doesn't know who Miss $ is, they are used to be two-members group which debuted with a song featuring Nam Gyuri (perhaps last year).
They made their comeback this year as a three-members group,

Remember how I said FT Island looks weird without Hongki?
Yeah ~ they are still weird without him.
But not when Jaejin replaced his position as a vocalist,
And performs an English song from The Beatles with an excellent English!

Do you get it?
Jaejin and his excellent ENGLISH.
The song they performed was 100% English.
You heard no wrong.

So, unlike other idol stars who taken parts in almost all Chuseok TV specials,
All FT Island did for Chuseok was appearing for a show for KBS,
KBS 추석특집 스타의 꿈 - 몽.타.주 (KBS Chuseok Special Star's Dream - Sketch),
Which aired today at 8.30 p.m. Korean time and will be aired on KBS World (+8GMT time) on this Saturday, 3rd October (if the schedule on KBS World website didn't lie to me).

Overall, the show was about the stars' dream performances,
And I had only watched two performances so far, in which one was from 4Minute and the other was from FT Island.
Not many had been uploaded yet because it doesn't have all those idol stars in it, so well, you get that picture.

First impression - oh wow, black suits ; so totally The Beatles!
Jaejin and his bowl-cut hair ; for once it looked awesome.
Ah, Jonghoon's blonde, almost like a foreign band's member.
But Seunghyun's hair ; only he owned it, he didn't resemble any foreign band's member.
Minhwan ~ maybe?

Hey Jude was a song from The Beatles, back from 1968.
It was even older than my eldest brother.
I swore I had never heard this song before (even if you are going to call me stupid or moron, I don't care).

But when I heard FT Island performed it,
Well - I couldn't help but to ask my mom about the song itself.

I am quite impressed by Jaejin's almost-flawless English.
Wow, it sounded even better than Honglish,
Not that Hongki couldn't do the same (well, it kind of reminded me of Out of Control terror).
Many knew Jaejin got the most excellent English out of the 6 boys (yes, including Wonbin),
And when he sang this song, I was pretty proud of him.

He had been brushing his English well.
FT Island's English teacher must be so proud right now.
His voice did nothing disastrous and it was quite impressive,
Considering he wasn't the vocalist and yet he sang excellent English for this song.
Another wow ~ he hits all the right notes well!
Jaejin's vocal was VERY GOOD.
It got my mom surprised too ; her expression was quite unexplainable.
He totally wowed me (and perhaps the audiences) with his capability in singing.
Good work, Jaejin!
But no one could replace my favorite vocalist yet for sure.
But it was VERY STRANGE to see him without his bass guitar.
Ah ~ where had your bass guitar went, Jaejin?

Considering the song was back from the year when they weren't even born,
Perhaps the year where their parents were about slightly older than their current age,
FT Island did great ; or should I say VERY GREAT?

But what was Hongki's standup poster doing in his hand during the beginning?
It was a total LOL moment of the performance!
No Jaejin, you don't have to hold Hongki's standup poster like that.
I know he will be watching soon, and he will be proud with the 4 of you too soon.

Ah ~ quite refreshing to see the boys performing well nowadays.
Even without Hongki ; though I missed him.
And my dear blog friend, Nade said FT Island shouldn't be performing if they aren't complete.
Yes my dear friend, you are right.
It feel wrong not to have all five boys.

But as long as they did fine,
And the audiences seemed to enjoy their performance,
I see nothing wrong for them to continue FT Island's schedule even without Hongki.
Sure it will be weird ; but well, better 4 boys than nothing to me.

But I miss Hongki too.
Hongki ~ come back and perform with FT Island.
FT Island isn't FT Island without you, or without any of the other 4 boys.

Anyway, just want to wish Happy Chuseok to FT Island, and Oh Wonbin too.

My Family on Hari Raya Aidil Fitri

I hadn't update my blog for days - gosh, I felt like a total loser for abandoning my blog.
Anyway, it is not too late for me to wish "Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri" to all of my friends, from my schoolmates, to my penpals and to whoever knew me, hoping that everyone had a great Hari Raya and enjoyed this festive season in happiness.

So, my Hari Raya was fun, I spent it with my family and relatives, asking forgiveness and forgave everyone. It was a long tiring day, but we have so much fun going from one house to another together. I got lots of duit raya, despite I am getting older. Ah ~ it was a happy celebration, but we didn't forget to visit my grandparents graves with my family. We have to remember them even when they are no longer with us, even when we are having fun on Hari Raya. I went back to my dad's hometown in Perak on the third of Hari Raya and celebrated it with my dad's relatives. It was quite boring, but the journey was quite fun.

Ah ~ I finally revealed my family. My elder brother took this picture on the first day of Hari Raya, before we went to my grandparents' graves, which explained why some of us in the picture wore tudung (even during normal days we don't wear tudung, bad me).

Let me introduce my family members (except for my elder brother and brother-in-law who were excluded from the family picture).

The woman in blue baju kurung and without a tudung (at the very end of the picture) ;; my sister-in-law, a kind woman who knows how to cook very well and is extremely nice. We sometimes contacted each other through SMS a lot.

The woman with purple tudung and baju kurung (sitting on the couch in the middle) ;; she is none other than my beloved mom, going to retire from work next year and is a perfectionist in almost every aspect of life.

The woman with blue tudung and white/blue baju kurung (next to my mother) ;; my elder sister, who never actually act as if she was the eldest daughter of our family and often act silly though she is very nice.

The youngest boy with t-shirt and jeans (sitting my elder sister's lap) ;; my youngest nephew, Ashraf, in which been called 'the younger brother Oh Wonbin never have' due to many similarities (as spotted by my mom recently) - the same eyes, the same dimples, the same smiles.

The girl with white tudung and purple baju kurung (kneeling next to my elder sister) ;; well, this is me, looking extremely not like the usual me when I am wearing a tudung for sure.

The one and only adult man wearing purple Baju Melayu (sitting on a small rattan stool behind me) ;; he is my dad, who is very kind but recently become really fussy, finally getting himself a new Baju Melayu after years of re-wearing the same Baju Melayu.

The young boy in blue Baju Melayu (sitting next to my younger sister) ;; my nephew, the son of my elder brother and sister-in-law, in which I always confused about his age and always teasing me, every time he sees me.

The young boy wearing gold Baju Melayu with a freaking looking smile (the middle child among the three sitting children) ;; of course, judging from his smile, he is my beloved nephew, Amirul or preferred to be called as 'Little Hongki' by me.

The young girl wearing blue baju Kurung (sitting next to me with a peace sign) ;; my niece, my elder brother's daughter, who is very talkative and very loud but also, very sensitive at some time.

It is already the 6th day of Hari Raya today. I need to post some useful post next time. But I am just too busy. I'll be back soon, maybe an hour later?

Though it is simple, at least more people will actually know today is Seunghyun's birthday. Nice picture used too, one of my favorite photos of Seunghyun (taken from MNET M!Countdown). Good job, Korean Primadonna (who ever post that advert is so awesome)!

20090811 FT Island to Appear As Cameo in SBS 스타일 [Photo Updated]

So, anyone remembered FT Island's cameo appearance in SBS 온에어 (On Air) as themselves attending an award party and also specially appearing on KBS 못말리는 결혼 (Unstoppable Marriage) to support Lee Jaejin's character in that sitcom?

Well, if you have fun watching FT Island appearing on TV dramas even for a short several seconds or even without lines, be sure you are not missing SBS weekend drama, SBS 스타일 (Stail) airing every Saturday and Sunday. It was reported yesterday in Korea that not only FT Island, but 2PM, 2NE1 and two actors, Kang Jihwan and Cha Yeryun are going to appear as cameos for the sixth episode of this weekend drama. The mentioned celebrities (including FT Island) are going to appear in this drama for an event of celebrating the 200th issue of a fashion magazine (according to DramaWiki, the magazine itself was named as Style) where the main characters of the drama worked in. The sixth episode will air on 16th August.

If you asked me about the drama itself, well, I hadn't watch it all after it replaced SBS 찬라한 유산 (Shining Inheritance)'s time slot. I am still in love with that drama but from what I read and heard, SBS 스타일 is somehow considered as Korea's The Devil's Wears Prada, because it involved a story about a young women who worked in a magazine where she found her boss a bit scary. I think so. I should go and watch some episodes first before I could say that.

Back to FT Island, this will also marked Song Seunghyun's firsta attempt in appearing as cameo in a TV drama. The rest of the boys, including Wonbin had done it before for SBS 온에어 and even had a whole episode of KBS 못말리는 결혼 involved about them (FT4 acting as bad boys, trying to get SNSD's Yuri and Sooyoung's attention by chasing them around). So basically, I am excited to know whether the boys and the rest of the cameos mentioned will actually have lines to be said or was it just like in SBS 온에어 where they just walked on the red carpet and was never seen again. With three boys of FT Island already in the acting field, and Jonghoon was already experienced in appearing as cameo, I think FT Island will do well. Among the mentioned idol group, FT Island (except for Seunghyun) was also the most experienced idol band to appear as cameo for this drama because they had done it before. Well, doesn't Seunghyun said he likes acting? This will be like an exposure for him too.

I want to thank SBS for including FT Island in the cameo list, though. The boys really need to appear on TV more, not just on variety and music shows. They have to have their chances to shine as talented celebrities, not just singers. I can't wait to watch it, so good luck to FT Island and good luck to both 2PM and 2NE1.

I basically am more excited and in the same time, curious about 2PM's acting skills.

Aww ~ the five boys looked so handsome. Seunghyun is HOT with that black hat but what is wrong with the manskirt? Are the stylists trying to ruin his image or what? Still not digging Jaejin's hair. Don't tell me he likes it because I think nobody likes it. I got nothing to say about Minhwan except that I don't like his outfit. Hongki and Jonghoon are mighty fine! They are going to appear as cameos in those outfits? Ah ~ I really can't wait!

FT Island's Fire & Pretty Girl (feat. KARA) Rock Versions Performances on SBS 인기가요.

AHHH! Please, let me scream because I am totally CRAZY and happy right now! Just watched performances from SBS 인기가요 on YouTube and I must said, this week's SBS 인기가요 was the BEST music show I ever watched this year! OMG ~ I am still screaming when I wrote this, and I swore I heard my dad knocked on my door telling me to calm down. The best summer special performance on SBS 인기가요!

My two favorite groups, FT Island & KARA finally combined together to make one awesome short performance! Aww ~ it was worth the wait! I can't express much with words, because half of my excitement had been spazzed out to my younger sister just now. There were many more special performances but nothing could be compared (forgive me for my biasness here) to FT Island's rocking special performance.

Their image was totally about rock band boys! But I was laughing so hard when I noticed Hongki got his Dara 's palm tree hairstyle! Gosh, that was hilarious. The hairstylist must had a crazy time applying that hairstyle on Hongki. I also noticed Jonghoon and Jaejin got tiny ponytails on each of their heads too. That was just weird, but in the same time funny and cute. Thanked GOD nothing happened to Seunghyun and Minhwan's hair. I forgot to mention how HOT Seunghyun looked in this short special performance. I don't know why but he got this charm about him which made me squeled. He was so handsome. All the boys looked amazing, and my younger sister was drooling over Jonghoon.

The special performance from FT Island started with their own rock rendition of 2NE1's first hit, Fire. I have no idea they were performing this song in their own rock version! OMG ~ I swore the rock music sounded so awesome. The guitar riffs heard were totally incredible, and not to mention the amazing bass line! They must had recorded the rock music before. It sounded so cool! I can't believe Seunghyun took over CL's rap part! He surely changed the "CL" part into his own name. Did he said "I go by the name of Seunghyun of F&C..." ?? I loved the way he pronounced those short English's lines. He sounded so sexy (?) though his English was pretty messed up! I also loved how they kept the 2NE1 name in the beginning, as a sign of respect (no matter if FT Island is for sure a senior to 2NE1). Hongki's voice suit this rock version so much! He done some mistake with the lines and stuck his tongue out during performance, so CUTE! And when Seunghyun started to sing, I screamed again. His voice sounded so awesome! His image made him looked like the ultimate bad boy, my HOT bad boy to be precise. His voice blended in with Hongki's voice very nicely! I am glad they let Seunghyun sang instead of Jaejin for this performance because he completely made Fire sounded so awesome! Haha! They totally made me wanted to hear the full version of Fire in rock music! They made the song sounded COOL! I am so in LOVE with FT Island's Fire rock version! I just wished it was longer.

They continued the special performance with KARA's Pretty Girl in rock version but since KARA already released their own Pretty Girl School Rock Version in their previous mini-album, I wasn't expecting much. But the beginning was altered and it sounded awesome. When KARA appeared from behind the curtain, I was going crazy. The girls looked awesome, especially my two favorites, Nicole and Seungyeon. How sweet, the girls started the song along with Hongki as they made their way towards their MBC Idol's Army's partner. Jonghoon with Hara, Hongki with Jiyoung, Seunghyun with Seungyeon (I loved how this couple names rhyme for some reason). But because Minhwan was drumming at the back, Nicole stood next to Hongki instead. Aww, no Min-Cole moments! Gyuri who was partnered with MC Boom on the show partnered with Jaejin instead since Jaejin wasn't included in the MBC Idol's Army before. The fans, probably Primadonna & Kamilia combined together were singing together with the two groups, so loudly! Unfortunately, I can't hear KARA voices much in the performance, probably because Hongki's voice overshadowed their voices, considering the song's range must had been lowered to suit Hongki's voice. Since I had also heard Hongki (and everyone including Wonbin except Seunghyun) sang the male version of Pretty Girl, I was more excited about their chemistry on stage since FT Island had never been partnered with any female singers, especially a group on stage except for Younha before. They made several random moves from Pretty Girl and it was all cute. The boys looked so happy performing this song with the girls. The way they dressed looked almost similar ; rock boys, rock girls. I loved how Seunghyun and Seungyeon looked at each other and the camera caught their short (very short) moments together, and it looked as if they both enjoying themselves together, despite the age differences. Jonghoon and Hara were enjoying themselves too. Anyone spotted the matching pants they wore? Couple pants, perhaps? I can't believe how suitable Gyuri looked with Jaejin. Jiyoung showed so much cuteness with Hongki and I wished Nicole will run towards Minhwan and showed some Min-Cole love, however, there wasn't any.

They also performed 바래 separately, and I am in love with what they were wearing. The theme was green and silver and I totally wished I could have Seunghyun multi-color stripey shirt! He looked so cute (from bad boy to cute boy?) Hongki with tie, OMG! All of them looked awesome and I must said, the stylists were really making the boys looked hotter nowadays with the great improvements with their outfits. Once again Hongki nailed those high notes but I still can't understand why they must performed the chopped and shortened version of 바래. I am missing Seunghyun's first rap nowadays. How cute to see Hongki rapped along with Jaejin and Seunghyun during the last rap part. Overal, it was nice to see the boys in green (my favorite color) and looking all energetic. Must be because they were given a chance to sing along the five girls of KARA before. Haha, just kidding!

Great show! Congratulation to SBS 인기가요 for winning my vote for the best summer special music show! I totally loved all performances, not to mention MC Mong dancing to SNSD's 소원을 말해봐 with SHINee & 2PM members. Everything was totally COOL, but the most cool performance was still be FT Island's special performance for sure!

20090803 오직 하나뿐이 그대 Special Stage LIVE Performance

Before you wondered what this post is about, let me tell you that this post was written because I was craving for more live performance from FT Island, and this morning, when I opened YouTube, I found this new uploaded video, dated way back from 2007. This video I embedded here is a live performance of FT Island covering an old song from ShimShin (I don't know what band or who the singer is) called 오직 하나뿐이 그대 (The One and Only You) in MBC Music Core on 7th July 2007, that was a month after their debut, right?

오직 하나뿐이 그대 is a song by ShimShin back in the early 90's and the song itself was released in 1991. Wow, imagine this. Hongki, Wonbin and Jonghoon were just a year old when the song was released. Perhaps Jaejin wasn't even born because he was born late 1991 and Minhwan, he didn't even exist yet! Having these lovely boys performing an old song totally excite me, just like how they performed Seo Taiji's Ultramania back in MNET M!Countdown (oh, the bad head-banging). The special performance was called 만남, because the original singer was also considered as a 꽃미남 singer back in 90's, just like how FT Island was considered as the 꽃미남 밴드 after their debut.

Want to know why I categorized this is a LIVE performance? They got microphones attached to all the drums around Minhwan, and the guitars and bass were plugged in, with real wires. I don't know why MBC Music Core had this performance for their show but I am glad I had one more chance to watch Wonbin performing live with FT Island, even if it was two years ago. The song was okay, not something FT Island did during their debut but it was fun to watch. The performance showed that the boys were really good with their instruments live, even after just a month of debut.

GOD knows how much I missed the boys with their old image. The 사랑앓이 image. Hongki with his shoulder-lenght hair, Wonbin with his sleeveless shirt and untied tie, Jaejin with his super cute hair, Jonghoon with his neat black hair and Minhwan looking so small and cute. OMG ~ this LIVE performance brought back memories. I don't care if they didn't perform their own song because seriously, FT Island should stick to genre like this more. Everyone like it, and I know I will totally love it.

See the differences shown when the boys performed hand-sync and live. They looked super happy whenever they got the chance to play live, and everyone know that they are good with their instruments. Though not much close-up of Jaejin, Jonghoon and Minhwan, I knew the boys are smiling happily. Hongki looked gorgeous and his voice fit this song perfectly. I liked how he called the original singer, ShimShin to be on stage with him and he even bowed at his senior. He showed that even on stage, during a live performance, it was vital to treat seniors well. The senior singer sang with him too, and surprisingly, I love their chemistry as much as I loved FT Island and Lee Seunggi special performance on KBS Music Bank.

The song was my mom's cup of tea. Yeah, I got her watched this one too. She said the boys looked so different. Duh, this was 2 years ago, mom. Of course they looked different! Even Minhwan was still in middle school during this performance. Hongki voice was flawless in this performance and I loved how the bass sounded so clear. I just wish there were some close up for Jaejin and Jonghoon. Wonbin got his chance to do his thing, rapping but I don't know if that is call a rapping because it sounded as if he was just singing the bridge part angstily. Yes, angstily. But this made me missed him even more. When my mom knew that the song was released in 1991, she was surprised and told me that FT Island covered this song perfectly despite that the song was at the same age as them! They totally rock the performance. But since I never watch or hear this song before, I can't really say anything except for the boys did great. The song was pretty catchy too.

Overall, I totally loved it even if this performance was from 2 years ago. I missed these boys when their image was like this. Well, I missed Wonbin more though. Anyway, good job FT Island! I demand more live performance, even during regular weekly music show! This is the only way for my boys to show their talents!

I wonder, in 10 or 20 years in the future, will there be another 꽃미남 band to replace FT Island? Will one day in the future, there will be another 꽃미남 band paying their respect to the first 꽃미남 band in the idol group's era by covering FT Island's songs like 사랑앓이, 나쁜여자야 or 바래? Will FT Island be in the same category as legendary band like YB Band, or BooHwal when they reached their 30's or 40's? Will Hongki appears to sing with the younger bands during special performances? Will Jonghoon, Jaejin, Seunghyun and even Wonbin be recognized for their talents in guitars and bass? Will Minhwan be an inspiration for younger generation to learn drums more? Will FT Island be an inspiration for the younger generation bands when they were all in their 40's?

That, is a very amusing thing to think about.

FT Island is too young, just 2 years after debut, and they are still in their teens. Perhaps they will grow even more mature, and by that, perhaps 20 years in the future, they'll be legendary too. Forgive me for my wild imagination. I just like to imagine the future now.

T-Ara's 거짓말 Part 1 MV

I didn't went online for a day and there is like a thousand updates I needed to catch up with. OMG ~ I am already tired of reading too much news this morning. So, T-Ara had their official debut on MBC Radio Star on 29th July, yesterday, but unfortunately, I didn't watch that show, so don't ask me how the girls did in that variety show. I don't know, all that I know is that the girls showed their own personal talents. That's all. Enough. I don't know more.

The MV of T-Ara's song, 거짓말 Part 1 had also been released, staring 대한민국 남동생 or translated as South Korea's Little Brother, Yoo Seungho. Honestly, I think he is cute, but I don't actually go crazy on him so yeah, practically I am too biased to like him what-so-ever. The teaser was released several days ago and the MV was released yesterday. For me, I loved the MV. As I said before, the concept of the MV was six girls dating one man, so obviously it was a case of deceiving loves, just like how the title meant. The MV was almost well-made, almost perfect and the acting by the six girls of T-Ara (Jiyeon, Hyomin, Q-ri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Boram) were awesome. I think the girls, especially Hyomin and Boram looked extra beautiful in the MV. I loved their parts, somehow linked together. Jiyeon was the one riding the motorbike with Seungho, Eunjung the one he danced with at the club, Hyomin was the one with camera, Boram was the one riding the bike with Seungho, and I think Soyeon was the one having dinner at the restaurant while Q-ri was the one who baked cake with Seungho, right? I am not sure about Soyeon and Q-ri since I couldn't really differentiate the two of them yet, so forgive me if I got it mixed up and wrong. The MV suit the song very well, and I could actually feel the emotions showed by the girls. How the girls hated being deceit, and I adored the beginning of the MV, when a girl (couldn't recognized who though) threw a glass towards the TV. The clothes they wore in the MV looked awesome too. The choreograph for the song seemed to be fun too, it actually made me wanted to learn it.

Okay, now that the MV had been released, we have a better look at who sing which part. I am not sure about the singing part, but I believed all the girls have strong vocals to start with. One thing that I found interesting was that, Hyomin, my favorite member of T-Ara was actually the one who raps in the song. Wow, that's a shocker. I thought her voice sounded different when she sang the ballad for Cinderella Man's OST. Well, this made me wonder though. Why is it, all the of my favorite members from almost all groups seemed to be the rapper? Hyomin, the rapper. Seunghyun, the rapper. Wonbin, used to be the rapper. Nicole, the sometimes-rapper. Eunhyuk, rapper. Yoobin, the rapper. OMG ~ as much as I loved reviewing on vocals, it seemed I loved rappers more. Among all the girls' vocals, I think I liked Boram's voice the most. I might be slightly biased over her, but I think I'd seen her in KBS Star Golden Bell with her father, if I am not mistaken and I actually liked her. Her image, she showed an innocence of a girl, that's kind of made me slightly biased over her. Hyomin, have a strong resemblence of SNSD member, Jessica and I realized this ever since she appeared in FT Island's Heaven MV. Eunjung was also my favorite because she looked mature and friendly, and not to mention beautiful even after she acted a the ghost for the movie 고사 and got her heart broken by Hongki in 천동 MV.

As a conclusion, 거짓말 Part 1 had already been my favorite so far so the MV made the song sounded way better. I loved it, and this MV made me want to fall in love with Yoo Seungho too. He is extremely cute. Now, what is left to do is to watch today's MNET M!Countdown where the six girls of T-Ara will have their debut performance. I am wondering how they will perform. Will it be okay? Or will be not?

One thing excited me now other than that is waiting for tomorrow's KBS Music Bank live on KBS World. I got to watch FT Island, KARA and T-Ara altogether on one LIVE music show. I hope tomorrow is going to be the best Friday ever, except for me still being sick.

Jaejin & Seunghyun For 결혼해줄래 Special Performance

Perhaps other than my depressing assignment, today is the best day in my life (I mean it this time). I am a biased fan of FT Island, and I am in love with Lee Seunggi (this is so true, I am in LOVE with Seunggi) so, when my two interests combined together, I got the perfect combination of FT Island's members Lee Jaejin and Song Seunghyun (I am on my way to kidnap him now) singing Lee Seunggi's current hit, 결혼해줄래 (Will You Marry Me) on today's MNET M!Countdown.

Forgive me if the video is out of sync but this is the fastest video uploaded on YouTube so I'll repost another once I got a better quality video. Replaced with another shorter video, slightly better than before, but the audio is still kind of on and off, will replace it again if I managed to find better video.

Anyway, did I mention the stage was small? But OMG ~ I swore I was giggling (like a crazy retarded fangirl) when I saw Jaejin and Seunghyun on stage together. For the first time ever, without Hongki! They looked so good on stage, and if only they are not younger than me, things will be so perfect because writing a post about these two lovables from FT Island kind of make me feel like I am a pervert, or a pedophilia, though Jaejin was just two weeks younger than me (yah, I take age matter seriously, okay?). Why must you be a 1992-born, Seunghyun? Why can't we be at the same age?

Jaejin's voice is so good! Gosh, I really love his voice in this performance. Everything about him looked and sounded perfect. My perfect goat! He used to be my favorite member in 2007 before I became crazy and changed my favorites. He sounded so good live (if only those girls stopped screaming, it will be even better) and I surely wanted to hear him sings more on stage! He hit all the high notes perfectly. I so proud of the goat! The nerdy goat is so good!

My baby Seunghyun! (Forgive me if this paragraph is going to be about my baby Seunghyun and it might be too long) He looked so handsome in that outfit, in that hat! I screamed (seriously, until my dad came into my bedroom and smacked me) when I saw him on stage. He did the rap (though I hope he sings) and it was good, if only he didn't forget the line and skipped the beat thus turning his head away from the camera. Perhaps it was because he was too nervous, and he always somehow got way too nervous when he sang someone else's song (remember Couple performance anyone?) but he surely did great with FT Island's own song, which he recorded together. He looked so down after that (come here and let noona hugs you) but I could never say he did bad. He did good, because the rap for Lee Seunggi's song isn't something like he usually rap. He usually rap angstily but for this song, he needed to really rap (as if rapping like so fast) so it was understandable if he missed some lyrics. I don't care (really baby Seunghyun, noona doesn't care!) and I loved to have him on stage. It gave him more attention, as he needed to be loved more by fans. Seunghyun did really good, I am so proud of him too.

The performance was short, but very awesome. If I am Lee Seunggi, I will be very proud of these two young boys. Remembered the KBS Music Bank's performance back in 2007 when FT Island had a special joint stage performance with Lee Seunggi? Back then it was with Wonbin, but now, Seunghyun and Jaejin sang Seunggi's song. How great, Seunghyun was labelled as Seunggi's twin for resembling Seungggi when he first debuted with FT Island early this year, right? Seunggi's twin rapped for his song. Seunggi-oppa, you have to watch this performance and give these two kids credits for doing such a good job! Oh, MC Mong was there at M!Countdown, right? Probably he'll tell Seunggi how the boys covered his hit.

Honestly, I was hoping that Seunggi might appear during this performance, but I guess Seunggi is way too busy. I am not dissapointed, but I really think it will be so much better if Seunggi appear together with the boys. But wait, I don't think that will be a good idea because it will surely snatched away the attention from my lovely boys.

I liked how they made Jaejin and Seunghyun sang this song instead of Hongki. Not that I hate Hongki (Hongki will remain as my dream boy forever) but FT Island needs more love and what will be a better way than to let everyone else know that each member of FT Island have their own charms and talents?

I am done with my review for this performance. The next one will be about FT Island's own performances of 바래 and 빙빙빙 (yes, they perform this song for MNET M!Countdown so don't think I am lying).

Oh, a VCR of MNET Ranking is included at the end of the video. They are so cute, so dorky and so lovable. It maybe out of sync but at least it filled me with happiness to see my favorite boys being so childish and playful.
