One Beautiful Journey.

I promised my dearest friend that I would post my personal opinions on the mini-album Beautiful Journey that was released on August 26 but I haven’t found the right time to sit down and listen to all songs carefully (although I found the time to sit down and right a proper rant about my life lately). It will be better if I less spam and continue with the reviews. However, this might haven been done with bias so please don’t bash me.

사랑사랑사랑 (Love, Love, Love)
The title track of the mini-album, the all-kill song that each member of FT Island wishes for and finally come true. This song brings back the rock ballad music from FT Island that we all loved and missed and this surely is the trademark of FT Island. It has an awesome rhythm and amazingly good lyrics about a leaving love. But this is very different from their past rock ballads. This is more powerful, and this is more addictive with the same melancholic feeling. The repetitive parts won’t bore you, and the rap parts making it even better. Hongki and Seunghyun show their chemistry in voices through this song better than any songs they performed before. Seunghyun proves that he has dramatically improves in rapping and he sounds even better than before. My rating, five stars out of five stars.

굳은살이 박혀버려 (Like My Hardened Skin)
There is no proper English translation for this song because the title is supposedly a Korean idiom or something but this is a good ballad. It starts off slow and mellow but it grows to be a powerful ballad (of which I won’t categorize as a rock ballad yet). The chorus is amazing and what is more amazing about this song is Hongki’s voice as usual. You can feel the pain and the emotion through the song it self without knowing the definition of the song. My rating, four stars out of five stars.

Baby Love
It is not that I don’t like this song—I love it—but this kind of song from FT Island has always been something I don’t listen much amidst of their rock ballads. I love the melody so much because I think it is very sweet. The piano composition makes this song as sweet as the beautiful summer day. The chorus on the other hand, makes one wants to smile all day and this is the perfect gateway from the rock ballads present earlier in the mini-album. The guitar riff part is the best for sure. Love the transition of the vocal from something heavy to something lighter and bubblier like this song. My rating, four stars out of five stars.

미친듯이 너 하나만 (Madly, Only You)
This is my favorite rock ballad from FT Island because I love the beginning and I love the whole song with all my heart. The chorus is just so good in terms of music and vocal and gets stuck easily by only one listen. The emotion flows in this song smoothly and the bridge part is just mesmerizing because one could feel the emotions send by the great vocal. This ballad is in simpler term, flawless. I love the ad-lib by Jaejin during the end chorus—it feels like a fresh breath amidst of the heavy emotion flows. My rating, five stars out of five stars.

돈키호테의 노래 (Song of Don Quixote)
This marks the first anticipation in composing the Korean song by the leader, Jonghoon. And to make it obvious, it is a great job. The song is the pop upbeat rock song that instead of making you smile and remember your first love, makes you want to jump and dance along with its upbeat rhythm. Hongki never fails with his vocal even with this upbeat song and his vocal gets along with Jaejin ad-lib and Seunghyun fast and fun rap very well. This is the best song they could perform to end the beautiful journey throughout the five tracks of this mini-album. The best part would be during the end chorus, because the drum beat rocks and a good job done by Minhwan with its drumming. My rating, five stars out of five stars.

Overall opinion, I think this is the best mini-album out of the two mini-albums FT Island has released. The songs will never bore you and you will never feel like you want to skip a song. The only thing is that Jaejin and Seunghyun should have more vocal parts, instead of just Hongki, despite his variety of emotions in each song. Jonghoon and Minhwan should shine like their previous albums too. But, the whole mini-album was just too perfect and well produced. Listening to this mini-album does feel like a great and beautiful journey through the music transitions that FT Island wishes to show. This would be one of the recommended mini-albums for 2010. The music, the vocal, the composition and the arrangement—everything is just great.

FNC Music has released its official tracklist for FT Island comeback mini-album titled Beautiful Journey. The mini-album will consist five songs overall.

1. 사랑사랑사랑 (Love, Love, Love) (Title Song)
2. 굳은살이 박혀버려 (Like My Hardened Skin)
3. Baby Love
4. 미친듯이 너 하나만 (Madly, Only You)
5. 돈키호테의 노래 (Song of Don Quixote)

As stated by FNC Music, 돈키호테의 노래 (Song of Don Quixote) will be the first song in their Korean album to have Choi Jonghoon participated in writing the song. This mini-album is set to show the diversity of FT Island's music. It will be released on August 25.

Glad to hear this, but still, I am waiting for a full album instead but anything is good, as long as it is an activity in South Korea. On the other note, LITMUS has released its Fall Collection so don't bother about anything else and go check the pictures out. They are gorgeous.

First Day of Ramadhan.

Alhamdulillah, it is finally Ramadhan once again. Let’s be thankful to Allah for allowing Muslims all around the world to celebrate this month of blessings once again. Let us all start this great month of Ramadhan with praises to Allah and greet the next 30 days of blessings by fasting faithfully and smile.

So how is the first day of Ramadhan for everyone? For me, it is quite simple and nothing extravaganza actually happened. I got no classes today so I spent my time at home, alone. I accidentally fell asleep and totally missed my plan to visit the book shop to get my self several new novels since I have been rereading my old novels non-stop lately. Surprising how I actually fell asleep while doing my assignments. I blame the lack of sleep.

My sister and her family came by our house to break fast together and we have this load of food on our dining table and there were not enough chairs for everyone thus I have to eat by sitting on the floor inside the living room. See dad, I have told you that we need a new dining table. We have so many food to eat and when it was time to finally break our fast, we fill our empty stomachs with every thing we could. Minus the tasteless soy milk my brother in law made and the even more tasteless fruit juice I made.

Anyway, tomorrow will be the first day for me to fast and go to class so I hope it will be a great experience. I should pay the visit to the book shop as soon as possible before I run out of money, since I heard from someone through LiveJournal that FT Island will be releasing a mini-album on August 25, as seen through Melon site. How true this news is will be unconfirmed but it will be better to get our hope high and wish that this will come true. But come on FNC Music, almost a year since FT Island releases anything in Korea and you are giving Primadonna all around the world a mini-album? I expect a full album but beggars can’t be choosers, I guess.

Love Music Video.

Yesterday, I have become crazy trending #fishandcake on Twitter as my support to the Fish and Cake day. In case you need your memories to be refreshed - Fish and Cake is the full name of the abbreviation FNC. Ten points for whoever guesses right. FNC Music is the company that manages FT Island, CN Blue and lots more promising bands that are schedule to debut into mainstream in the future.


So, FNC Music has releases the music video of “Love”, the title track for CN Blue. I have spend at least five minutes watching a music video that tells a story about how four young men stumble upon a boring café where they take over the mini-stage to brighten the ambience before they go up to the rooftop and sing their heart out with audiences clap their hands altogether. Yeah, I have seen a music video way better than this and I have to say, oh come on FNC Music, the standards of your artistes’ music videos are usually above the usual par - someone always getting beaten, someone always cry and someone usually almost die. But hey, this isn’t as bad as how FNC Music could let someone takes chops and bits of a Chinese movie and mingle it all together to make a music video of “Missing You” from FT Island when I have been expecting a music video as angst as “Heaven” or “너울때까지 (Until You Come Back)” music videos. Yeah, I still have nightmares about that. But “Love” music video is simple - soothing to the part that you can smile while watching it because you can expect that no one is going to run towards the stage and stab one member of the band randomly or someone jumping off the rooftop amidst of clapping their hands. I am use to watch FNC Music releases a music video with a storyline, even if the storyline is as vague as the music video of “위톨이야 (I’m a Loner)”. I like it, but am I hook to it? Well, not yet but surely, it could happen anytime soon. But soon is not tomorrow or this week perhaps.

But the song - it is such a refreshing change from their previous debut title track. I love the soothing rhythm yet I also love the rock break near the end of the song. It feels better than watching a dance break during a dance group performance. The moment I hear the song I know that the song will nail it. But to have their come back during a flood of come back is like FT Island 2008 déjà vu all over again. There are the line of newbie coming back like F(x), 4Minute, MBLAQ; the line of superstars such as Super Junior, SS501 and not to forget the world-star-to-be-or-perhaps-they-need-lots-more-hard-work Wonder Girls. It is going to be like a wild jungle out there and I hope CN Blue wins this time.


Oh, on the other hand, see what I found while surfing Twitter. SeunghyunFacts posts that the former member of CN Blue, Kwangjin is now preparing to debut with a band where he is the leader with another member, who is none other than the younger brother of FT Island’s Song Seunghyun, Song Sehyun. OMG, how good could this band be? I would love to see Seunghyun very own younger brother to be in a band and to see the interaction between the two brothers. FNC family is getting bigger and bigger. But hey, this is just some news I pick up from Twitter and please don’t believe me 100% or else if this is not true, you will be disappointed. I am just writing this out of my bias and faux excitement although if it is true, I will be jumping around like a crazier fan girl.

My life hasn’t been interesting lately thus I fill this blog with my fan girl mode posts instead. Yeah, who would want to read a story of a boring nineteen year-old girl who writes nothing but about frustration anyway.

CN Blue is Coming Back

CN Blue is making their comeback. Now that FT Island is busy with their major Japanese debut, FNC Music surely knows how to make more money - by letting their second band into the spotlight with a comeback. I have no complains about that though, I love having CN Blue back with new songs (well, I know my mother will be extremely happy).


The MV teaser was released yesterday - I got a bit late since I was out with my dad when the teaser was released. The title track is “Love” and from the teaser, I don’t know whether it was just me but I have a slight déjà vu case when it reminded me of FT Island period with “바래 (I Hope)”. Jazzy club with cheesy MC, yeah things like that. They reminded me of The Beatles maybe? Jazzy club with cheesy Bring back the 50’s I assume? I am a bit worried about their hairstyle though I do love what Jungshin has - no more ninja hairstyle. But I spotted Minhyuk with shorter hair. Well, got to have a clearer look first before saying anything.

But I love the way this MV teaser works. Not just it doesn’t feel like a MV teaser but the superb English on the beginning and the ending of the teaser makes it feel as if it was a movie teaser instead. It gives such a different vibe from any other teasers out there that doesn’t excite me (excluding FT Island, whatever they do excite me) and it makes me want more instantly. Wow, FNC Music has sharpened their English unknowingly huh? "...amazing music is coming to you..." well, I surely hope the music is amazing.

About the song - oh I love it already. To wait until May 19 gives me headache. Why everything must comes out on May 19 - FT Island major Japanese debut single and CN Blue mini-album, both on the same day? Oh FNC Music, talk about knowing the way on how to make a fan of both bands to spend more money on both bands! Oh well, just wait.

In case nobody realizes this, FNC Music has two official YouTube accounts. THIS is for FT Island and THIS is for CN Blue. I guess they want to separate both bands’ videos unlike any other entertainment companies that combined all videos from all artists together. Don’t go and panic when the account you subscribed to has no videos from either FT Island and CN Blue.

Flower Rock MV.

Now the real hyperventilating moments have officially started. Okay, I will let you do whatever you want because I know I have. Just two days ago I wrote about the f-cking short eleven seconds teaser of “Flower Rock”, a new Japanese single from FT Island which also marked FT Island major debut in Japan. Wait no longer you impatient fan girls because the MV of “Flower Rock” has been released today, April 30 instead of May 3!


Let me tell you what I think when I first heard of the song. I thought it was some anime song, I swore. This real rock could pass as song for any action anime (I could imagine it becoming an opening of Naruto, maybe Bleach). The one thing that I totally love about “Flower Rock” that it is REAL ROCK. I don’t mean angst-ridden songs with guitar riffs throughout the song but a real song that makes you want to do head-banging. I know I did. The Honglish parts are a bit eh~ but never mind, it is still good. Jaejin does have parts in the song but nothing major. Just some minor lines - more like ad-libs, no? Hongki's voice is very good for this song. I will try not to complain about not giving Seunghyun any chance to sing at all but hey, the song is absolutely good so what is there to complain anyway?

Yes, the English lines are a bit unexplainable. Is it “everybody hands up” or is it “everybody handsome”? I don’t know anything about Japanese so I won’t judge how their Japanese pronunciation at all. The song is very energetic and you can’t help but to fall in love with you, if you are a fan of FT Island of course. And if you are not a fan, I will recommended that you listen to this Japanese song first before I introduce you to the other Japanese singles that FT Island has. I dare to say I like this a bit better than their previous singles - Soyogi, The One, I Believe Myself and Raining. I am anticipating the energy level of their live performance of this song too. Sincerely, I also dare to say this is a good song to mark their major debut in Japan after being known as indie band in the land of the rising son. It would actually be better if they applied this kind of music into their Korean music even when I don’t have anything to complain about their Korean music (I can’t have enough of any of their Korean songs anyway). The song is jumpy, energetic, awesome and kind of addictive after the second listen.

About the MV - hey, FT Island as janitors. I don’t mind having these handsome janitors at my school before. I actually like the idea of putting wigs on these boys’ head as they pretended to be janitors but what’s with giving a blonde another blonde wig? But surely you have to know that Jonghoon looks hot even with beard and moustache. Jaejin rocks his afro (and I mean it, I don’t really like boys with afros) meanwhile Seunghyun might have taken back his Actor Song’s wig from Idol Magnae Rebellion times. Minhwan puts on a blonde wig too and he is just so adorable. I almost melt when the boys took off their wigs in such dynamic and charismatic way, tossing it away along with their fake equipments. The storyline is very much easy with no hidden agenda or whatsoever. I love simple MV. Overall, I love that the boys could do head-bangs and jump around in this MV with the song. I have watched them cry, drenched in rain, screaming their hearts out and even beaten to death but I enjoy watching them having fun the most. The ending of the MV makes me laugh, because at least we could see the dorky sides of the boys once again. Just imagine the eye-candies overload once the HQ version of the MV releases.

FT Island will soon start to actively participate in Japanese broadcasts so please anticipate their major debut. The full single album is set to release on May 19 with two more songs so if you are rich and you could afford their album, buy it. With my rusty Japanese, I wish FT Island all the best; FT Island, ganbatte!

My parents decided to go and play bowling today since they are off from works tomorrow.
We went to Ampang Point and played bowling at Ampang Superbowl ( seriously not my favorite place to bowl ) however, we were only able to play two games because there was a tournament taking place as soon as we finished ( this is why I hate this place , so many tournaments, no freedom for us to play ).

The first game, only my dad and my younger sister played and she sometimes replaced position with my mom. I was still kind of scared to bowl after my operation ( though the doctor said it is quite alright now ). After the first game ended, my dad paid for one more game for three however excluding me, however, my dad came back with another pair of shoes for me because he said if he paid for three, he got one player to play along for free ( in which I suspected that they just said it to make me play along ).

OMG ~ it had been so freaking long since I last played! One whole year!
The reason why my dad took us for bowling was that in two weeks time, we will be going for our annual Darwish Bowling Tournament, a bowling tournament my mom’s family organize. We gathered altogether and divided ourselves into groups after randomly picked out numbers and played. Last year I got paired up with my three older cousins in which I was the only teen in the group ( until my male cousin’s son stepped in to replace his father ) and my group won third place. My dad’s team won first place while my older brother and older sister ( in which both somehow got into the same team , NOT FAIR! ) won second prize. My sister-in-law got the consolation prize while my mom and my younger sister didn’t play.

It was considered as a warming up game before we played later during the tournament. A year surely stiffened all of my skills. My dad told me I got quite a good skill in bowling ( since I am a worst athlete ever ) so to be able to play again, well, it made me happy.

You know what, I am worried about the game.
My left foot is hurting like crazy right now. What should I do? I am damn worried! I am scared that I might not be able to play during the tournament. Last year I said I didn’t want to play however my older brother forced me to do so. But this year, I am not sure. I really wanted to play but my foot isn’t allowing me. It hurt so much right now, I am panic.

What should I do?
Yesterday, I met Azwan. OMG, it’s been a year since we last met, my best friend. He drove to my house and we talked for quite a long time outside my house. My friend, thank you for sharing a bit of your hectic time with me. It was surely a precious time for us to meet and talk, after a whole year!

One random thing, I found a Malay magazine which covers only on K-Pop, J-Pop and T-Pop before I went bowling earlier today in which I could easily spot among the other magazines because FT Island was featured as the cover. I instantly bought with without hesitation ( it’s damn cheaper than the monthly magazine I bought ) and surprise, it came with a gigantic poster of FT Island from their repackage album DOUBLE DATE ( which happen to be my least favorite photo shoot from the gorgeous boys ) however, I LOVE IT!

One bad news, my mom is crazy over CN Blue’s 위톨이야 (I’m A Loner) right now. She kept on singing the line “…위톨이야, 위톨이야 daradiridaradu…” nonstop. Even at the parking lot. She is now contemplating whether to use that song as her ringtone or not because currently, that song is my message alert tone. No mom, use another song please!

The final teaser from CN Blue for their title track 위톨이야 is finally releases on January 13, featuring its most known member who has successfully gains popularity through his charming ( yet a bit slow in revealing his feelings ) character, Kang Shinwoo, in the hit drama SBS 미남이시네요 (You’re Beautiful), none other than, JUNG YONGHWA. Yes, I assume many fan girls are happy that the teaser is finally out because well, I know I am.

Allow me to do my thing .

OMG, Jung Yonghwa is so amazingly handsome ! How can he looks so dashing in a less than 50 seconds teaser ? The combination of his awesomeness, his coolness, his charm and everything nice makes me the happiest fan girl, waiting patiently as their mini-album is waiting to be releases on January 14. Gosh, this teaser is like freaking full with sexiness. Oh, the mysterious blue diamond makes its appearance in this teaser too, kind of curious about what it means to the song itself.

As for the song, up until now we have rock, jazz, ballad and now it is time for some good R&B rhythm. Feels like a pop song to me but most of the time I hear R&B screaming through the 40 seconds teaser. I am actually pretty impatient, waiting for the song to be releases tomorrow yet I am trying to calm down. Well, I love this new arrangement for the song uses in the teaser, very charming in its own way but I still prefer the rock one. I’ll scream in happiness if the song is releases in the rock version ( oh GOD , please make this true ). I am pretty sure Yonghwa sings this song because he is the lead vocalist and I love his voice in this teaser ( though it wasn’t as sexy and as oh-so-mighty powerful like Hongki’s voice but well, we’ll going to wait and see ) Anyway, I’m eager to know who write this song, anyone knows?

Well, one day more to go for the release of BLUETORY .

Now, we have B for Burning, L for Lovely, U for Untouchable and E for Emotional which all come to the conclusion of BLUE. Cool ! If you are not excited about CN Blue debuts in Korean music mainstream, well, you might just have to wait for another pop-bubblegum boys groups to debut. I am freaking tired of those kind of music, hoping that CN Blue will make a difference in this stereotype music industry that we all worship.

CN Blue has releases their third teaser from the four that will come out before their mini-album BLUETORY releases on January 14 and here is the teaser from the bassist of the band, and also the youngest member a.k.a magnae of the band, LEE JEONGSHIN ( so like their senior, CN Blue has two Lee’s in the band ).

Oh yes, Jeongshin is very sexy.

Unlike the rock teaser from Jonghyun ( the leader ) and the jazzy teaser featuring Minhyuk ( the drummer ), this teaser is somehow more - BALLAD. Rap, ballad ; those are FT Island’s specialties. Oh, you know - the melodrama, dramatic, over-flowing with emotions kind of music, yes that is exactly their senior’s kind of music so I am hoping this won’t be the original arrangement for the song. Up to this point, I can’t figure out how the song will sound on the last teaser. Ah, but the vocal sounds so sexy ~ not to the point that I am hyperventilating but it was damn sexy. This teaser gave some kind of a mysterious vibe, even more with the sudden appearance of the blue diamond at the end of the teaser ( CN Blue equals blue diamond, eh? ) but still, the song sounds great to me.

On the side note, how can Jeongshin look like he is way younger than the bassist of FT Island, Jaejin? Even when the real fact that Jaejin is younger by months? He looks incredibly cute with hair tied like that ( oh, got a sudden flash of Hwang Taekyung for a moment ). Jeongshin looked so damn innocent and childish ( I can’t stop looking at his picture, I know ) but I am slightly happy that CN Blue doesn’t make it to my jailbait list ( I have enough jailbait in the past several months; Minhwan, Seunghyun, U-Kiss’s Dongho ) because the youngest member is my age! Yes ~ three cheers for 1991-borns and welcome to my hot-1991-boys’ list, Jeongshin ( he is now third after Jaejin, Minhyuk and before 2AM’s Jinwoon and SHINee’s Key ).

One thing I found about the band which seems interesting .

They are all like DAMN tall! The shortest are 180 centimeters? Are you joking? The tallest in FT Island is 180 centimeters - Seunghyun and that scale is the shortest in CN Blue? What do these boys eat to grow so tall? And as usual, the magnae Jeongshin is the tallest at 186 centimeters ( I’ll be like a dwarf next to him ), followed by Minhyuk at 184 centimeters, Jonghyun at 182 centimeters and Yonghwa at 180 centimeters, and my sisters thought Yonghwa was already like a monster for being such a tall person.

I am still thinking whether to get the mini-album or not. I might give it a listen first after it releases and if I found it damn good ( sometimes FNC Music produces TOP-QUALITY mini-albums, as good as a full-album like JUMP-UP ), I’ll buy it. Though I am still bitter about the decision to only releases a mini-album, but I think it’s a good choice. FT Island could releases their full-length album because there wasn’t many competition among boys’ groups back in 2007 ( they are the best among all those debuting boys’ groups ) yet CN Blue has to face several debuting groups ( F.CUZ , ZE:A and more to come ).

I can’t wait for the last teaser from Yonghwa on January 13.

The second teaser from CN Blue is out TODAY! *throwsconfetti* This time, it introduces the drummer of the band ( and if I am not mistaken ), KANG MINHYUK. If you are expecting fighting sequences from Minhyuk ( well, honestly I do ) well, this isn’t what you think it is. As the title state, this teaser shows the lovely Minhyuk, with a more mellow and sweet tune of the song 위톨이야, different from the rockish 위톨이야 from the Jonghyun’s teaser.

As for right now, I am not sure what the definition of the title 위톨이야 is.

One word to describe the teaser ~ aww, so LOVELY!



I must have this thing towards boys with side-swept bangs ( first Jaejin , then Seunghyun , followed by Hongki and later come Minhyuk ㅋㅋㅋ ). I have fallen head over toe with this boy name Kang Minhyuk. He looks so cute and adorable, I have the urge to pinch his cheeks ㅋㅋㅋ. He’s a 1991-born right? 동감이야! No jailbait for CN Blue. How sweet this song does sounds? Way different from the rock teaser released two days ago. I love it. Hot boy and books - my kind of perfect combination *die* If I ever found Minhyuk in the library I go, I would definitely kidnap him ( and he’ll find me creepy, doesn’t he? ) because OMG this teaser doesn’t just scream “HOTNESS” but it screams “LOVELY” as loud as it could. It is just so freaking lovely~ I am falling in love again *gotkick* my first true love from CN Blue.

But this confuses me. FNC Music surely doesn’t want fans to know the exact arrangement of the song itself, perhaps not until the mini-album comes out. I am a bit bitter about a new artist debuting with mini-album because I kind of like the idea of an artist debuting with a full album just like FT Island did because it will showcase more variety in their debut work but who cares? It’s CN Blue I am talking about ~ everything is right when it’s about them. I am a bit more towards the rockish arrangement of the song and really hopes *begs* that they debuted with that kind of music because I am damn tired of pop songs ( seriously, it’s like a disease I can’t run away from ) and I wants some differences for 2010. The so-called second FT Island, though I HATED to call them with the title because they are obviously way different than FT Island especially in terms of music style (CN Blue are more rock-ish kind of music while FT Island is more like, well angsty-emo-ballad) when the only similarities were that they were both from FNC Music (OMG, I just freaking admire whoever works in this company for being able to find good-looking boys who play instruments, 사장님, 감사함니다!) and that they are both bands. Well, as much as I don’t want to point this out, CN Blue seems to be better at Japanese (I freaking LOVE their mini-albums). But FT Island, don’t be sad, you are still my number one craze no matter what happened. It was just; I found a new fandom to be giggling over in my fan-girl mode for 2010, CN Blue.

Don’t get me wrong, 외톨이야 (Burning) is the title of their debut song ㅎㅎㅎ


FNC Music is taking a different approach in releasing the teaser. Instead of giving a teaser of the whole band, they are going to release one teaser consist of one member until their debut date on January 14. The first teaser is released today, consisted of Lee Jonghyun; the leader and the guitarist (emm, I am getting more confused when more celebrities with the same name appears ㅠ.ㅠ). The second teaser will be released on January 8, followed by January 11 and the last one January 13, a day before their mini-album is releases. The mini-album title is BLUETORY and don’t ask me why it is called by that title. I think it’s awesome (influenced by bias, of course).

I am freaking love the song based on the teaser. It is very rock-ish, way rocker than FT Island’s emo songs. But wait, this teaser reminded me so much of FT Island’s Heaven MV. Hot boys and fighting sequences, I have no argument against that. Boys always look hot (minus those useless boys from my high school) while fighting. Aww ~ the hotness overloaded *gotchopped* Jonghyun is LOVE! Oh wait, I am already in love with Minhyuk, can’t betray him right now *gotshotagain*. But the song, it is sick man! I have to say I can’t wait for this! I was anticipating F;Cuz and CN Blue both together, but listening to this, gosh, my fan girl rate had just raised up to its maximum level after listening to the teaser. This is like something you’ll listen if you follow Korean Indie (I know I do, sometimes), a very rock sound no idol group (in which I have to sadly said, not even FT Island) had done for quite a long time. Ah, I just got a glimpse of Seo Taiji for no good reason for a while. This is freaking good! The song is just amazingly good from the teaser. I mean it! The beat, everything! This is just an awesome song (oh, like I can tell from the teaser).

Sorry F;Cuz but I had just abandoned you and I’ll be waiting eagerly for more CN Blue action for 2010. Good choice for FNC Music, to release CN Blue when FT Island will be away for their Asia Tour (duh, again!). I can’t wait to see them performing on music shows! Debut faster! Why is January 14 so far away… ㅠ.ㅠ

I heard that Minhyuk’s teaser is coming out next, on January 8. Gosh, I can’t wait. Why must it be on Friday? Why can’t it be today? 민혁아…!!

This is no joke, seriously. 장난이 아니야 ~ CN Blue already mesmerized me with their Japanese songs and I have a high expectation; knowing that their Korean song will just blow me away. I have no doubt they are going to make it big (as big as their senior, FT Island maybe?) if they continued to perform this kind of songs. Long live rock music! Long live bands! Go and die auto-tune (I am already sick of auto-tunes used in 2009, just hope it got destroy).

I should stop before I got a major nosebleed.

One Day in a Girl's Life.

Waa ~ so many things happened today!

First of all, SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDILADHA everyone!
How was everyone’s hari raya?
Eat well?
Did you receive Korban meat?

I celebrated my Hari Raya Aidiladha at my older brother’s house,
Because we are bored of always gathering together at my parents’ house.
My sister-in-law cooked delicious meals,
And we watched a great movie while having chatting loudly.
Ah ~ my loud family.
I discovered that my elder brother owned a Facebook.
I am not sure whether that is acceptable or just weird.

Second thing that happened ;
NO ~ 미남이시네요 had ended last night!
Overall it was a satisfying ending and it concluded very well.
I am very happy to be a part of those crazy fans of this drama, who lived throughout the past two months loving this drama from the beginning to the end.
I’m going to miss Taekyung’s lips thingy, Minam/Minyeo's cluelessness, Shinwoo’s sweetness and Jeremy’s dorkiness.
Oh, and not to forget Manager Ma’s foolishness.
Did anyone see how Manager Ma dragged Jeremy away by feet on the last episode?
And I think I have a girl-crush on the real Minam too ㅋㅋㅋ
Not to forget, I have two special post on 미남이시네요 to be post soon, so please visit often in case I posted it.

T-Ara released their first album and it is AWESOME!
I had never been this excited about a girls group’s album for so long.
Every song in the album is great - not a song skipped throughout the whole album!
I am so going to get myself the album.
Right now my favorite is 처음처럼 (Like The First Time), Bye Bye and Say Goodbye.
Say Goodbye totally has the same feeling as Time To Love,
And Bye Bye is just too awesome to forget.
Though their image remind me of Brown Eyed Girls ; I don’t care.
I really don’t care.
I am hoping they are going to choose 처음처럼 (Like The First Time) as their title track because I liked this song way better than Bo Peep Bo Peep.
But seriously, every song is good to listen too.
Their first album is surely great.
I wish nothing but success for them.

It had been a long tiring day for me.
I think I need my long good night sleep or else I’ll be a panda bear tomorrow morning, with heavy eyebags.

FT Triple And Their Love Letter.

I was still in the bad mood after ranting when I saw this.
FT Island’s sub group, FT Triple finally releases the MV of their song, 러브레터 (Love Letter) today.
This is the MV in which they shoot in Cebu, Philippines and got stranded due to the storm, as many thought Raining PV was the one shoot in Cebu.
No, this one was.

Two words for FT Triple, AWESOME SONG!
Okay, it is cliché to hear me saying that FT Island’s songs are all good, great, awesome, etc.
But this is serious, honestly.
The song is well, almost similar to FT Island’s style itself but it sounds so good.
I fall in love with the chorus immediately.
The verses are kind of easy-to-forget-hard-to-memorize but that was what I said about Raining before too,
And I’m sure I’ll be obsessed (strong word huh?) over this song very soon (like tomorrow perhaps?).
This sound much like Lie, but in a more upbeat and fresher sound,
The rap parts in the verses, melancholy chorus.

But this song is so sweet yet very sad!
I can’t imagine this song sang by Hongki at all.
Jaejin’s voice fit this song so well - he owned this song all by himself.
Hongki doesn’t have the voice to fit melancholy-sweet-tune song.
He suits the angst-emo-ridden ballad that could make you cry by the first word he sang.

One thing confused me.
The rap parts in the song were told to be done by Jaejin, but why on earth did I hear Seunghyun’s voice all the way?
I swore I was like “since when Seunghyun became a part of FT Triple?”
I could hear his voice in some of the rap parts.
For real, this is not a lie.
Especially during the second rap part - the short one.
The first rap part surely sounds like Jaejin's voice.
The rap part just screamed “Seunghyun part” whenever I heard it.
Until I looked at the description of the MV in YouTube by the lovely loyal FT Island videos uploader, it stated that it seemed Seunghyun helped, a bit.
But still, I hear Seunghyun rapping, not Jaejin.
Okay, I heard Jaejin’s voice in the rap parts too, but most likely I heard Seunghyun voice the most.
Maybe it is because they both shared the same rap style,
That’s it, I strongly believed this is the reason - same rapping style.
Maybe I am too Seunghyun-bias.
Ah ~ maybe I am wrong.

But what’s with FT Island’s songs starting with choruses lately?
Lie started with the chorus and so did this song.
New style?

The MV is beautiful.
Got to say Cebu had such beautiful scenery.
It is good that they choose Cebu.
To say that it is well done, well, I’d seen better FT Island’s MV which is better done that this but this MV is just awesomely beautiful.
The scenes at the abandoned building reminded me so much of Raining PV.
Same director perhaps?
Love the airplane shoot at the beginning so much though but not liking the zoomed in scene of the girl - kind of creepy.
Not digging the white outfits they wore in some scenes in the MV,
But loving the blue-white-black plaid shirt Jaejin wore because it reminded me of his image during 사랑앓이 times.

Talking about image,
Jonghoon and headbands are PURELY LOVE!
He totally rocks that style - even if anyone else had done it way earlier.
Jonghoon + blonde + headbands = AWESOMENESS OVERLOAD.
Minhwan is looking good with new hairstyle,
Finally out from the neat maroon hair and off to some volume in his hairstyle!
I want his black-white stripe cardigan!
Jaejin loses his bowl-cut!
Keep this hairstyle, please.
But the white outfits got to go.

FT Triple is set to debut on MNET M!Countdown on 29th October 2009.
With only the three of them on stage,
I am sure going to miss FT Island as a five-member band.
They hadn’t been active lately as a whole band,
And I missed that.
Correction, I miss Hongki on stage.
I miss Seunghyun on stage too.
Sometimes I wish Hongki didn’t get that role as Jeremy in SBS 미남이시네요,
So that they could always have the time to promote their songs together, as a whole band,
But not having Hongki as Jeremy would be awkward because I LOVE him as Jeremy.

Anyway, I am going to support FT Triple no matter what.
I am still considering whether to buy or not to buy Double Date, FT Island’s repackage album.
My mom said it will be a waste to only have three new songs and FT Triple mini album with only three songs too in the repackage album but she didn’t say I couldn’t buy it.
Maybe I’ll ask my dad to buy it for my birthday.
But Double Date is a limited release, with only 20,000 copies to be released.

This part is the depressing part of this supposed-to-be happy post.

HIATUS No More ; I Am BACK.

I am thinking about taking off the 2-weeks hiatus announcement.
It had only been one week ; but seriously, I am feeling way better than how I expected I would be.
This is such a relief.
I am feeling healthy ; though my feet still hurt,
The pain isn’t unbearable,
It just painful - not HELL PAINFUL,
So yeah, I am fine with that.

I AM OFFICIALLY BACK.
I am so happy to be back on blogging.
I got admitted to the hospital ward from 14th to 16th October,
And even when I got into a private hospital with good hospitality,
I was feeling worst inside the hospital.
I can’t move, I can’t eat, I felt sick all the time and everything about me just sucks.
However, the nurses were kind and very friendly,
And everything else except for me was fine.

I woke up from the surgery an hour after the surgery itself,
And the pain was like crazy,
My head felt as if someone just spun it around,
And I can’t move my body.

Thankfully, my family was there when I woke up.
It was scary inside the operation room ;
But whenever I think about my parents, I tried to act strong.
They kept on saying “you are our strong daughter”.
Well, it somehow helps.
Oh yes, I dreamt about dancing with Lee Hongki after I had been given the anesthetic, so typically random yet very interesting to think about.
Me, dancing with Hongki - even when he was known for being a bad dancer, it just sounded weird and totally out-of-this-world.

Right on the second day after the surgery,
I was taken to the physiotherapy session which at that moment was quite hard and painful.
I was force to wear special shoes and walked, with the stitches still new and bleeding.
Ah ~ even thinking about it gave me the painful feeling.
On the second day,
I was already asked to do everything, including going to the bathroom by myself,
With no help from the wheelchair at all,
And it was quite frustrating because I can’t balance myself while standing up straight just yet.

The doctor came and saw me on the third day after the surgery,
And he told me that I could go back home after the physiotherapy.
I was damn happy,
To know that I could finally go back home!
The physiotherapy session was a lot easier on the last day,
And I could walk better than on the day before.

Now that I am home,
I can’t move a lot or else my feet will swell.
I can walk, but I have to limit my movement.
Tomorrow I’ll be going to the hospital for another physiotherapy session (the third one out of the 12 session scheduled for me) and for dressing, to clean my old bandages and put on a new on.
I am feeling way better now,
And I can already walk without anyone’s help right now.
The only thing that bugs me is that I still can’t stand up straight, no matter how hard I tried.
And the other thing - I am currently taking three kind of pills as medication, and one of it made me drowsy each time after I taken it.
Not to mention I am facing hair loss dilemma ever since I came back from the hospital.

Ah ~ I can’t believe so many updates regarding FT Island happen when I was being hospitalized.
They released Lie a day before I went for the surgery, You Are Beautiful OST was released on the day I went for the surgery (gosh, Wonbin sounds girly on the song he sang with Miss $, I was slightly disappointed because I love the song by 9th Street more), Jonghoon and Seunghyun took part in a fashion show (Seunghyun got the height and the look, I got to admit), Hongki and Seunghyun taken part as ambassadors for Gangwon-do (though it stated FT Island, only the two of them were photographed and I am loving every photos to bits) and now FT Triple (Lee Jaejin, Choi Jonghoon & Choi Minhwan ONLY) have released the teaser of their song, Love Letter.
Wow ~ FT Triple sounds good ; though the 3 of them are the least favorite members of FT Island for me, they are good.
Got to love the headband on Jonghoon - he pulls it greatly.
They just kept on getting busier this October.
Somehow, I feel like their mother and I am worried about them.
After seeing a radio show picture of Seunghyun, looking rather thin (is he losing weight?), I am just so worried about them.
It is good to get more exposure,
But it is NOT good to get more exposure and get sicker each day.
Just take care of your health, boys.
Don’t be sick.

However,
But this makes me curious.
Now that Hongki is busy with You Are Beautiful (it is getting better each week) and FT Triple is formed and will obviously do promotions,
What is Song Seunghyun up to other than appearing for variety shows?
As much as I am worried about him,
I need my dose of Seunghyun in my life.
Oh ~ congrats to Seunghyun for winning SBS Quiz Sixth Sense on his first appearance’s episode though.

FT Island Comebacks With "Lie".

This will be my last post for this week (I hope so).

How am I supposed not to post anything when FT Island kept on surprising me with new releases?
I am freaking happy right now - it is impossible not to post anything.

After receiving much love for the song ‘I Hope’ off their 3rd album released
recently, FT Island will be returning to the Kpop realm once more.

FT Island will be releasing an album ‘Double Date’ end-October, and it will be
divided into ‘One Date’ and ‘Two Date’ albums. And for the first album ‘One
Date’, the song ‘Lie’ will be revealed.

‘Lie’ is a song that talks about the heartbreak that lingers even after breaking up with that someone you love. The song will be revealed through online music sites and also Mnet on 13th October.

Meanwhile, each of the FT Island members are doing their individual activities while member Lee HongKi participates in SBS drama ‘You’re Beautiful’. They will be back again as a group on 14th and 15th November for their concert.

Lie is a very beautiful song!
It really brings back the time when FT Island sings 사랑앓이 and 나쁜여자야.
The piano arrangement for the song is freaking AWESOME!
I have told you Hongki's voice fit angsty ballad song more than upbeat song.
One thing worth my enjoyment is that Seunghyun got more rap lines!
Like freaking more lines than any songs they used to perform!
Okay, but one thing totally freaked me out right now.
How in the world did Seunghyun sounded so SIMILAR to Wonbin when he raps for this song?
Gosh, for once I thought it was Wonbin who was rapping,
Until I realized, ah ~ no way, it was Seunghyun, right?
But anyway, I am a very happy Primadonna right now!
There is nothing wrong with FT Island and ballads.
They just fit each other very well.
The song is just pure GENIUS BALLAD.
I am listening to it on replay for the 23rd times now.

You know what?
I might just love Lie more than 바래 and I don't care if someone is going to bash FT Island for having such a common song name.
Go ahead, my FT Island boys are still awesome.

This ballad suits fall season so perfectly.
With solo male singers all back with their ballads,
FT Island is sure to be back too, with their ballad as well.
FT Island and ballads - the beautiful combination even more beautiful than vanilla ice-cream and crushed Oreo's biscuits or Coca-Cola mixed with vanilla ice-cream.

I bet my mom is so going to love this.
She was hoping for a ballad from FT Island for so long after 나쁜여자야.

I wonder if FT Island is going to perform this song or not.
If they are - considering this song is quite long,
I bet there is going to be more badly chopped parts.
I don't like that.
It will be better if they perform it full lenght or don't perform at all.
It hurt me when I listened to their shortened songs on music shows.
But considering their busy solo activities ;
I don't think so.

Anyway, good luck for FT Island with this song.
For me, it is already the best for fall.
I just hope the boys didn't overwork themselves.

FT Island's "Raining" PV Released.

The moment all of us had been waiting for is finally here.
FT Island finally released the full PV of their 3rd Japanese single, Raining.
I thought it was too early to be released ;
But then again, who really cares?

One thing I HAVE to say about this PV.
IT IS SO FREAKING BEAUTIFUL.

The surroundings, the camera angles, everything seems so beautiful.
I am not the only one who says this.
The gloomy ambience of the PV totally brought up the title Raining.
It is a mellow-no-so-dramatic kind of PV,
And I LOVE it so much!
Salute the director of this PV for creating such a beautiful PV for a beautiful song sang by our beautiful boys.

It is not as confusing yet interesting as Soyogi.
Not as cheerful and filled with fan-services as The One.
And it is absolutely not as freestyle but meaningful as I Believe Myself.

The PV of Raining ;
It is simple yet very amazingly done.
The cinematography was very perfect,
The color was so coordinated.
Everything is so deeply-well-thought about.
This PV might be the best out of all their Japanese PVs.

Well, there wasn't a scene with boys in the rain,
The only scene where it rains was at the final scene.
But still, I have nothing to complaint about.

Now who wouldn’t notice how HOT the five boys of Treasure Island looked?
I am spotting Hongki with his 사랑후애 hairstyle, but with different color,
Especially during the scene where he was at the rooftop.

Jaejin and his umbrella,
Well boy, he is handsome when the bowl-cut is gone.
Running here, jumping there - so practically random but looking gorgeous.

Seunghyun,
Not much of him, just a scene where he jumped randomly in puddles,
And when he played his guitar now that he is the only guitarist for Raining PV,
But still, he should keep that cute ponytail and that hair color forever.
His appearances in Raining PV received two thumbs up - from my mom and me.

For some reason,
Minhwan was seen as SUPER HOT in this PV.
OMG ~ a total jailbait for me, I feel so guilty right now.
But who can resist that cute image which had totally seen as HOT now?

Our Choi Leader,
So full of charisma while playing the piano,
He was just so perfectly the gentleman of FT Island ;
The cool leader as they said because he looked awesome.

There are many random jumping (some are running, while some are just, acting emo) scenes too.
Jumping boys - GORGEOUS.

The song ;
Gosh it was beautiful.
It totally brought me back to the Sonagi time.
Or better, it gave me a reminisce of 사랑앓이 times.
The rock-ballad-almost emo sound from FT Island,
Ah ~ those precious moments.

It was beautiful.
Totally a good song from FT Island.
The title itself sounds simple yet the song is so beautiful.
The rock-ballad influence totally impressed me,
And the song is very addictive too.
Got to fall in love with the ballad.
I had been replaying the PV to hear the song over and over again.
Honestly, I am dissapointed that Seunghyun still doesn't have a line in this single,
But Jaejin and Hongki both did a very good job in singing this ballad.
So beautifully sang, I must said.
But the ending piano - it sounded almost like 나쁜여자야 beginning.
They finally do what they do best - ballads.

Two thumbs up for the composer and the song-writer of this song.
Raining is a beautiful piece, given and sang to our beautiful and great band, FT Island.
I wish nothing but success for their 3rd Japanese single.
Please have a high rank in Oricon chart.

I am eager to hear the other two songs for this 3rd single.
Just hope it will be as good as Raining too.

Now,
It is time to wait for FT Island’s concert tour which had been confirmed as “Men’s Stories”.
Well ~ good name for a concert but LOL, FT Island’s members aren’t boys to me yet.
Shouldn’t it be “Boys’ Stories” instead?
And it is also time for Primadonna to wait the repackage album told to be released soon.
Ah ~ repackage album.
I can’t wait to hear the new songs they usually inserted for their repackage album.

Okay, I know it isn't his own song and that his name was mentioned along with Miss $, but this is worth the excitement I am feeling right now.

GOD knows how long I had been waiting for him to have his COMEBACK.

Will the song be a duet?
Or since Miss $ is a triple-member group, perhaps Wonbin will participate as a featuring singer?

For those who doesn't know who Miss $ is, they are used to be two-members group which debuted with a song featuring Nam Gyuri (perhaps last year).
They made their comeback this year as a three-members group,
Promoting a ballad (with rap insertion - just like FT Island minus the band thingy) titled 사랑이 뭐길래 (What Is Love).

Could you guess what kind of song Wonbin might sing with them for the OST?
I am guessing ballad - I want the song to be exactly a BALLAD.

That will be enough for me.
Just seeing his emo selca pictures doesn't really cure my Wonbin-sickness right now.
I need him to sing again!

AH ~ finally, the full MV for MC Mong's Horror Show has been released!
Horror Show will be a song from his repackage album,
Which will be promoted soon on various music shows.
Horror Show isn't a digital single as mentioned on some websites.
Gosh, people need to get their facts right.

I'm was quite surprised when I heard that Horror Show was leaked,
And was hoping whoever did that will be punish.
MC Mong must be dissapointed.

This is 대박!
I'd heard the song but I love the song more after watching the MV.
I might just like it better than Indian Boy too.
Totally saluting the director of this great MV!

MC Mong and his weird yet fun-to-watch MV never fail to amuse me.
This time, he got his best friend from 1박2일, Kang Hodong to make an appearance in his MV.
Gosh, that scene where Hodong pulls the shower curtain and holds up a banana while screaming his famous tagline, "Wild Siberian Tiger" totally cracks me up!
Gosh, you have to love that MC!
He always make me laugh - never once he had fail!
MC Mong's manager is in the MV too!
He is as awesome as MC Mong himself.
The whole MV is just too fun to watch, I kept on watching it over and over again and still, laughed at every scene.

I must say this is the best Horror Show I ever watched.
Love the parody they did for this MV.
Tale of Two Sisters, The Ring ; gosh, I couldn't stop laughing at the MV.
The song itself was just so great, the MV makes it even BETTER!
The remix insertion totally hyped me up!
And what's up with the band and the women in bridal gown?

I love the choreograph at the beginning of the MV.
The lifting part - that is just so COOL.
The whole choreograph seems to be awesome.

The whole MV is just way better than Indian Boy, I must say ;
Though I also love Indian Boy and still have that song on repeat sometimes.
It brings back the Circus feel, and I hope it will bring the Circus success back for his repackage album as well.

Got to love MC Mong and his creativity.
He never fail amuse me through his songs and MV.

I am thinking about buying his repackage album.

It had been quite some time since I last watched the boys (altogether).

The preview for the upcoming their 3rd Japanese single, Raining MV is finally out.
Yes ; I guess it right, Raining will indeed be a JAPANESE song.

I believe this will be the first post where I wrote about FT Island's Japanese single, am I right?
I don't think I'd done it before with I Believe Myself or their earlier Japanese singles.

I just need my dosage of the five band boys.
It had been just too long since I last watched them on stage,
In their complete five members.
Though it will be their Japanese single,
I just want to have the boys back together, as five members of course.

Don't stay separated for too long boys.
This fan of your kinda miss having five boys lately.
And she needs her dosage of some boys in the rapidly growing girls' groups.

Kicking puddles - suits the title, Raining, itself.
Haha, I kinda imagined a glimpse of 사랑후애 MV when I heard the title of their single.
You know, the scene where the boys played their instruments and sang in the rain?
Five Treasure Island's boys plus a raining scene is just PURE LOVE.

Jonghoon on piano ; now that's a must see view.
Not just him playing a keyboard, but playing a grand piano.

Seunghyun is as always - he is all mighty fine.

One thing I totally like is their image seen for the MV preview.
I am a total fan of FT Island in neat suits.

But boys in suits could never go wrong.
Okay, maybe it could sometimes but not with FT Island.
Look at how amazing the five boys are in their neat suits.
Hongki and the fedora ; purely love.
I am a big fan of Seunghyun's all black suit,
And Jaejin's shirt and vest combination.

Wouldn't it be sweet if they could always perform in this kind of image?
Though it will be a nightmare for their stylist and coordinator.

About the song ;
I am still in love with I Believe Myself,
But I have to admit I am digging Raining because it reminded me of Soyogi.

Because I suck in Japanese, I will not comment on the lyrics what-so-ever.
As much as I always wanted to master Japanese,
I failed badly.

But Raining sounds awesome, even through a 30 seconds preview.
I wonder if anyone else (Seunghyun, Jaejin or maybe, Jonghoon) will have lines in this song along with Hongki.
Honestly, I think Seunghyun needs to sing more.

I can't wait to listen to Raining in full lenght.
I hope it is going to be as good as I Believe Myself.

The 3rd Japanese single will be released on 21st October if I am not wrong.
I'm considering about buying this single.
Or I should just ask my dad to buy it for me as an early birthday gift.
