This is not something I do out of boredom—this is something I do as a continuation of what I have done last year on the last day of 2009. So right now, I am going to welcome 2011 by the same way—to list all of my favorites (of which have been heavily influenced by bias so you have been warned).

2010 however, my ultimate favorite band—FT Island—does not released a full album instead, they released one successful mini-album, three Japanese singles and a digital remake single of which all consisted of fifteen songs. Unfortunately, 2010 has been a year where I spent most of my time watching movies and listening to music rather than watching the great dramas of 2010. I believe that I should not rate a drama without watching it because the only drama I loyally followed in 2010 was 내 여자친구는 구미호 (My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox). I am still in love with that drama, period. I ship Dimple Couple forever.

2010 in general has been a great year in the Korean music industry and also for my own local music industry. I listen to almost every genre and although I am sticking with my bias forever—I am still open to any kind of music. I don't need anyone to bash me and my list because this is honestly what I like from 2010. I don't need any bashing or critics, because I am free to tell anyone what I like. I am free to listen to what you have to say—about your favorites from 2010.

At least I have finally witnessed my bias won awards for their excellent work in 2010. I love watching their success—and now I feel like a freaking mother to all those gorgeous boys. I also enjoy watching the success of others so let us say goodbye to 2010 and welcome 2011, in hope that it will bring even more happiness and success.

The Boy Who Can't Dance

There is a perfect reason why Lee Hongki was scouted by FNC Music to be a member of a music band instead of a member of a regular boy group—he literally can’t dance. By any mean, in whatever angle or perspective you want to say or see, he just can’t dance. So please broadcasting channels, do not invite Hongki or any other four members of FT Island who can’t dance (well, I am excluding Minhwan out because have you seen his Rainism’s performance? He can dance fortunately) into any of dance shows. Please, for the sake of FT Island’s image. I am so going to imagine Hongki doing his stiffed dance movement with Secret for a long, long time. FT Island is a band, forever a band. They can’t dance no matter how handsome and talented they are. 71 marks to 93 marks—that’s an understatement, he can’t dance! Poor Secret, at least we all have a good laugh. On the other note, isn’t it lovely to see Secret and Hongki all friendly? I guess I have a new OTP coming soon.

This finally happens. Finally, an artist from FNC Music wins first place on KBS Music Bank!

CN Blue proves that they are indeed the SUPER ROOKIE of 2010 by winning first place in KBS Music Bank K-Chart against Jokwon & Gain as well as T-Ara. OMG ~ the votes are so high. Congratulations to CN Blue for their successful debut. This is only the third week they performed and they already surpass their seniors.

I am practically screaming in happiness when I watch how they are announced as the winners. My mom is happy for their success too. I am so happy for their success and I wish it continues for next week ( before you-know-who comes back ). They surely proves they are not just a rookie, but surely a super rookie. Well, should we aim for the Mutizen Award on SBS Inkigayo this Sunday? I say, why not?

Doesn’t it feels great to hear the word “…FNC Music…” in the thank you wish? I read some comments saying that 2010 might be a good year for MNET Family, which somehow included MNET Media itself, FNC Music, Core Content Media ( Davichi, Supernova, T-Ara, SG Wannabe, Lee Hyori ). Will it really be possible that 2010 is the year of MNET?

Choi Minhwan finally proves that he isn’t just another Rain-look alike by showing his perfect rendition of Rainism ( originally by his long-lost brother from another parents, Rain ). I think he doesn’t look stiff *coughseunghyuncough* at all and looks so natural with the dances. OMG ~ the popping part is just so adorable. You know you are cute when fans are screaming when you do the popping part, don't you Minhwan?

Why is that Minhwan changes his solo stage’s performance on every concert?
Magic tricks, performing a ballad with piano, singing Magic Castle, dancing to Rain’s Rainism. Is he trying to show that he is the powerful magnae with talents of doing EVERYTHING? If he does, well, Minhwan, who had just stole this noona’s heart once again. And look, a post just for our favorite magnae!

Their president should just let them have dance practices nowadays.

미아해요 ~ I’d been away for too long .
I was supposed to post my review on CN Blue’s debut performance last week but I can’t because I got myself trapped inside a huge mess - I accidentally opened a spambot e-mail I received from someone I didn’t know at SILHOUETTE forum and it totally almost crashed my laptop . Luckily, my dad took it for a repair and everything was managed to be fixed - though it feels weird to use the laptop again after it almost crashed; as if this laptop isn’t mine anymore. My dad was pretty much pissed at me for almost crashing the laptop he bought about a year ago but after fixing it, he seemed to be okay. He said to me this one line in which it freaked me out and reminded myself not to mess up with the laptop ever again.

“It’s a technical problem everyone might done, but surely it happen because the laptop is tired of you”
I am taking extra precaution nowadays, even a slight mistake caused me to panic. I remembered how I yelled in horror when the virus started to boot inside my laptop, making everything upside down. When my dad’s friend told me the files and programs inside the laptop couldn’t be saved, I was devastated. I saved up to 10,000 pictures inside my laptop (in which 9000 pictures and FT Island’s pictures) and various kind of videos and to have it all disappeared because of my silly mistakes made me very depressed. Thankfully the repair guy managed to fix everything and recover my files and programs. Bless you repair man!

난 바보야 - I should be more careful with those kind of e-mails in the future .
I finally made up my mind and decided to just pay RM160 for a copy of Story of Five Treasure Island / MBC Collection DVD. I took whole day thinking about it before I put up my order; surprisingly, I feel guilty to spend that much money on one DVD but heck, as long as I am happy, I don’t care. The last time I spent that much was on the Rock Prince DVD, which cost me RM120. The reason why I can’t miss this chance of getting the DVD was because it comes with English subtitle! OMG ~ I was screaming happily when I saw this. I am hoping that it will come in a good condition. I might get it before Chinese New Year in early February. Just hope Men’s Stories DVD won’t come out any time soon or else I’ll have to beg for more money from my parents.

Goodbye my RM160 ㅠ.ㅠ ; curse you FNC Music for making such wonderful DVDs!
On the other note, my mom had made a shocking confession while we were watching re-runs of KBS Song Festival yesterday - a confession that surprised me the most. My sister and I wanted to go to the Super Junior concert in Kuala Lumpur if it ever happen, when my mom confessed this shocking confession that literally caused us to laugh.

“I don’t care about your Super Junior’s concert. I would only pay to go to FT Island’s concert”
Oh yeah mom, welcome to the club. But seriously mom, it will be almost impossible to have them having a concert in Malaysia. We are cursed! Why must this happen to me? I need to see FT Island in person ㅠ.ㅠ

On the other note, my mom is digging 2PM’s Heartbeat dance so much, she randomly danced at it whenever she liked. My mom is weird, she even thinks that Jang Hyuk from the drama 추노 (Chuno / The Slave Hunter) is hot and she thinks Lee Seunggi is cute ( like mother like daughter ). What have I done to my mom? Worst, she thinks SHINee’s Choi Minho is cute too.

I am sorry this is one day late. I got some problem with my laptop ( ah , I am so stupid ) and now I am working with my dad’s computer. I really hope my laptop gets fixed before tomorrow or else I’ll die of boredom.

The long wait has finally paid off.
CN Blue has finally releases the full MV to their debut song, 위롤이야 (I’m a Loner) yesterday, January 14 and if you are not yet a fan, you better watch it and be a fan because it is impossible not to like these four amazing men ( okay , two are just boys ) and that their music is way more amazing that the other two new debuting groups.

This is why I loved FNC Music so much. Other than knowing how to make fans wait eagerly ( releases the teasers way earlier for dramatic effects from the fans , right? ) they also know how to use both singing and acting talents in their artistes by creating such a dramatic MV. I think the song fits the MV just perfectly ( just like the song 사랑앓이 fits its MV ) and it was an amazing job done. I love the running scene and the scene where the three members just randomly scream their lungs out. Oh, so does this mean Jungshin is like the main role who passes out those blue diamonds and gathered them together?

OMG , CN Blue’s members are so good-looking, especially Minhyuk and Yonghwa ( I know , I’m biased ) but knowing that I don’t usually fall for drummers, wow, I am pretty much obsessed with them right now. Their music is no joke, for someone who likes Korean indie music, this is a good stuff. No kidding ~ their music is very good. Their voices are awesome and easy to my ears. Love the combination of the upbeat tune and the rap ; everything just blends in nicely.

I like how indie music influences their music – separates them from being compared to their seniors. I am not going to go gaga over them here or else I might need to just make a blog especially for them. Anyway, congratulations to CN Blue for being able to win my heart.

The most anticipated day has finally arrives *cheers*
The final teaser from CN Blue for their title track 위톨이야 is finally releases on January 13, featuring its most known member who has successfully gains popularity through his charming ( yet a bit slow in revealing his feelings ) character, Kang Shinwoo, in the hit drama SBS 미남이시네요 (You’re Beautiful), none other than, JUNG YONGHWA. Yes, I assume many fan girls are happy that the teaser is finally out because well, I know I am.

Allow me to do my thing .

OMG, Jung Yonghwa is so amazingly handsome ! How can he looks so dashing in a less than 50 seconds teaser ? The combination of his awesomeness, his coolness, his charm and everything nice makes me the happiest fan girl, waiting patiently as their mini-album is waiting to be releases on January 14. Gosh, this teaser is like freaking full with sexiness. Oh, the mysterious blue diamond makes its appearance in this teaser too, kind of curious about what it means to the song itself.

As for the song, up until now we have rock, jazz, ballad and now it is time for some good R&B rhythm. Feels like a pop song to me but most of the time I hear R&B screaming through the 40 seconds teaser. I am actually pretty impatient, waiting for the song to be releases tomorrow yet I am trying to calm down. Well, I love this new arrangement for the song uses in the teaser, very charming in its own way but I still prefer the rock one. I’ll scream in happiness if the song is releases in the rock version ( oh GOD , please make this true ). I am pretty sure Yonghwa sings this song because he is the lead vocalist and I love his voice in this teaser ( though it wasn’t as sexy and as oh-so-mighty powerful like Hongki’s voice but well, we’ll going to wait and see ) Anyway, I’m eager to know who write this song, anyone knows?

Well, one day more to go for the release of BLUETORY .

Now, we have B for Burning, L for Lovely, U for Untouchable and E for Emotional which all come to the conclusion of BLUE. Cool ! If you are not excited about CN Blue debuts in Korean music mainstream, well, you might just have to wait for another pop-bubblegum boys groups to debut. I am freaking tired of those kind of music, hoping that CN Blue will make a difference in this stereotype music industry that we all worship.

CN Blue has releases their third teaser from the four that will come out before their mini-album BLUETORY releases on January 14 and here is the teaser from the bassist of the band, and also the youngest member a.k.a magnae of the band, LEE JEONGSHIN ( so like their senior, CN Blue has two Lee’s in the band ).

Oh yes, Jeongshin is very sexy.

Unlike the rock teaser from Jonghyun ( the leader ) and the jazzy teaser featuring Minhyuk ( the drummer ), this teaser is somehow more - BALLAD. Rap, ballad ; those are FT Island’s specialties. Oh, you know - the melodrama, dramatic, over-flowing with emotions kind of music, yes that is exactly their senior’s kind of music so I am hoping this won’t be the original arrangement for the song. Up to this point, I can’t figure out how the song will sound on the last teaser. Ah, but the vocal sounds so sexy ~ not to the point that I am hyperventilating but it was damn sexy. This teaser gave some kind of a mysterious vibe, even more with the sudden appearance of the blue diamond at the end of the teaser ( CN Blue equals blue diamond, eh? ) but still, the song sounds great to me.

On the side note, how can Jeongshin look like he is way younger than the bassist of FT Island, Jaejin? Even when the real fact that Jaejin is younger by months? He looks incredibly cute with hair tied like that ( oh, got a sudden flash of Hwang Taekyung for a moment ). Jeongshin looked so damn innocent and childish ( I can’t stop looking at his picture, I know ) but I am slightly happy that CN Blue doesn’t make it to my jailbait list ( I have enough jailbait in the past several months; Minhwan, Seunghyun, U-Kiss’s Dongho ) because the youngest member is my age! Yes ~ three cheers for 1991-borns and welcome to my hot-1991-boys’ list, Jeongshin ( he is now third after Jaejin, Minhyuk and before 2AM’s Jinwoon and SHINee’s Key ).

One thing I found about the band which seems interesting .

They are all like DAMN tall! The shortest are 180 centimeters? Are you joking? The tallest in FT Island is 180 centimeters - Seunghyun and that scale is the shortest in CN Blue? What do these boys eat to grow so tall? And as usual, the magnae Jeongshin is the tallest at 186 centimeters ( I’ll be like a dwarf next to him ), followed by Minhyuk at 184 centimeters, Jonghyun at 182 centimeters and Yonghwa at 180 centimeters, and my sisters thought Yonghwa was already like a monster for being such a tall person.

I am still thinking whether to get the mini-album or not. I might give it a listen first after it releases and if I found it damn good ( sometimes FNC Music produces TOP-QUALITY mini-albums, as good as a full-album like JUMP-UP ), I’ll buy it. Though I am still bitter about the decision to only releases a mini-album, but I think it’s a good choice. FT Island could releases their full-length album because there wasn’t many competition among boys’ groups back in 2007 ( they are the best among all those debuting boys’ groups ) yet CN Blue has to face several debuting groups ( F.CUZ , ZE:A and more to come ).

I can’t wait for the last teaser from Yonghwa on January 13.

The second teaser from CN Blue is out TODAY! *throwsconfetti* This time, it introduces the drummer of the band ( and if I am not mistaken ), KANG MINHYUK. If you are expecting fighting sequences from Minhyuk ( well, honestly I do ) well, this isn’t what you think it is. As the title state, this teaser shows the lovely Minhyuk, with a more mellow and sweet tune of the song 위톨이야, different from the rockish 위톨이야 from the Jonghyun’s teaser.

As for right now, I am not sure what the definition of the title 위톨이야 is.

One word to describe the teaser ~ aww, so LOVELY!



I must have this thing towards boys with side-swept bangs ( first Jaejin , then Seunghyun , followed by Hongki and later come Minhyuk ㅋㅋㅋ ). I have fallen head over toe with this boy name Kang Minhyuk. He looks so cute and adorable, I have the urge to pinch his cheeks ㅋㅋㅋ. He’s a 1991-born right? 동감이야! No jailbait for CN Blue. How sweet this song does sounds? Way different from the rock teaser released two days ago. I love it. Hot boy and books - my kind of perfect combination *die* If I ever found Minhyuk in the library I go, I would definitely kidnap him ( and he’ll find me creepy, doesn’t he? ) because OMG this teaser doesn’t just scream “HOTNESS” but it screams “LOVELY” as loud as it could. It is just so freaking lovely~ I am falling in love again *gotkick* my first true love from CN Blue.

But this confuses me. FNC Music surely doesn’t want fans to know the exact arrangement of the song itself, perhaps not until the mini-album comes out. I am a bit bitter about a new artist debuting with mini-album because I kind of like the idea of an artist debuting with a full album just like FT Island did because it will showcase more variety in their debut work but who cares? It’s CN Blue I am talking about ~ everything is right when it’s about them. I am a bit more towards the rockish arrangement of the song and really hopes *begs* that they debuted with that kind of music because I am damn tired of pop songs ( seriously, it’s like a disease I can’t run away from ) and I wants some differences for 2010. I am awfully disappointed with F;CUZ debut song Jiggy and if you are a fan, I am so sorry. I just can’t accept that song yet *bows* and I am sorry. It’s an okay song, but not my cup of tea. Sorry, I am going to stick with CN Blue as my favorite rookie for 2010 if their work is good in quality ( and not to mention the eye candies ㅎㅎㅎ )

Side Notes: Hell yes I am burning (because HE is just so HOT ㅋㅋㅋ) Ah, my first post for 2010, yet I am already posting about my fandom *bows* I am sorry! 죄송함니다!
The so-called second FT Island, though I HATED to call them with the title because they are obviously way different than FT Island especially in terms of music style (CN Blue are more rock-ish kind of music while FT Island is more like, well angsty-emo-ballad) when the only similarities were that they were both from FNC Music (OMG, I just freaking admire whoever works in this company for being able to find good-looking boys who play instruments, 사장님, 감사함니다!) and that they are both bands. Well, as much as I don’t want to point this out, CN Blue seems to be better at Japanese (I freaking LOVE their mini-albums). But FT Island, don’t be sad, you are still my number one craze no matter what happened. It was just; I found a new fandom to be giggling over in my fan-girl mode for 2010, CN Blue.

FNC Music is taking a different approach in releasing the teaser. Instead of giving a teaser of the whole band, they are going to release one teaser consist of one member until their debut date on January 14. The first teaser is released today, consisted of Lee Jonghyun; the leader and the guitarist (emm, I am getting more confused when more celebrities with the same name appears ㅠ.ㅠ). The second teaser will be released on January 8, followed by January 11 and the last one January 13, a day before their mini-album is releases. The mini-album title is BLUETORY and don’t ask me why it is called by that title. I think it’s awesome (influenced by bias, of course).

I am freaking love the song based on the teaser. It is very rock-ish, way rocker than FT Island’s emo songs. But wait, this teaser reminded me so much of FT Island’s Heaven MV. Hot boys and fighting sequences, I have no argument against that. Boys always look hot (minus those useless boys from my high school) while fighting. Aww ~ the hotness overloaded *gotchopped* Jonghyun is LOVE! Oh wait, I am already in love with Minhyuk, can’t betray him right now *gotshotagain*. But the song, it is sick man! I have to say I can’t wait for this! I was anticipating F;Cuz and CN Blue both together, but listening to this, gosh, my fan girl rate had just raised up to its maximum level after listening to the teaser. This is like something you’ll listen if you follow Korean Indie (I know I do, sometimes), a very rock sound no idol group (in which I have to sadly said, not even FT Island) had done for quite a long time. Ah, I just got a glimpse of Seo Taiji for no good reason for a while. This is freaking good! The song is just amazingly good from the teaser. I mean it! The beat, everything! This is just an awesome song (oh, like I can tell from the teaser).

Sorry F;Cuz but I had just abandoned you and I’ll be waiting eagerly for more CN Blue action for 2010. Good choice for FNC Music, to release CN Blue when FT Island will be away for their Asia Tour (duh, again!). I can’t wait to see them performing on music shows! Debut faster! Why is January 14 so far away… ㅠ.ㅠ

I heard that Minhyuk’s teaser is coming out next, on January 8. Gosh, I can’t wait. Why must it be on Friday? Why can’t it be today? 민혁아…!!

This is no joke, seriously. 장난이 아니야 ~ CN Blue already mesmerized me with their Japanese songs and I have a high expectation; knowing that their Korean song will just blow me away. I have no doubt they are going to make it big (as big as their senior, FT Island maybe?) if they continued to perform this kind of songs. Long live rock music! Long live bands! Go and die auto-tune (I am already sick of auto-tunes used in 2009, just hope it got destroy).

I should stop before I got a major nosebleed.

I celebrated my Hari Raya Aidiladha at my older brother’s house,
Because we are bored of always gathering together at my parents’ house.
My sister-in-law cooked delicious meals,
And we watched a great movie while having chatting loudly.
Ah ~ my loud family.
I discovered that my elder brother owned a Facebook.
I am not sure whether that is acceptable or just weird.

Second thing that happened ;
NO ~ 미남이시네요 had ended last night!
Overall it was a satisfying ending and it concluded very well.
I am very happy to be a part of those crazy fans of this drama, who lived throughout the past two months loving this drama from the beginning to the end.
I’m going to miss Taekyung’s lips thingy, Minam/Minyeo's cluelessness, Shinwoo’s sweetness and Jeremy’s dorkiness.
Oh, and not to forget Manager Ma’s foolishness.
Did anyone see how Manager Ma dragged Jeremy away by feet on the last episode?
And I think I have a girl-crush on the real Minam too ㅋㅋㅋ
Not to forget, I have two special post on 미남이시네요 to be post soon, so please visit often in case I posted it.

T-Ara released their first album and it is AWESOME!
I had never been this excited about a girls group’s album for so long.
Every song in the album is great - not a song skipped throughout the whole album!
I am so going to get myself the album.
Right now my favorite is 처음처럼 (Like The First Time), Bye Bye and Say Goodbye.
Say Goodbye totally has the same feeling as Time To Love,
And Bye Bye is just too awesome to forget.
Though their image remind me of Brown Eyed Girls ; I don’t care.
I really don’t care.
I am hoping they are going to choose 처음처럼 (Like The First Time) as their title track because I liked this song way better than Bo Peep Bo Peep.
But seriously, every song is good to listen too.
Their first album is surely great.
I wish nothing but success for them.

What Was Lost, What Was Gained.

MNET Asian Music Award 2009 is over.
Congratulations to those who win - 2NE1, 2PM, KARA, Hong Jinyoung and the list go on and on.
Wonderful performances line-up (a bit bias, but that is my opinion ; don’t come and kill me because I enjoy everything though) and everything was fine.
I love 2PM’s performance the most because I am clearly missing Jaebum more and more lately.
The spotlighted empty space where Jaebum used to stand in Again and Again performance broke my heart.
And I am still ‘digesting’ the rap performance by the female rappers - quite confusing and not feeling it at all.

BUT,
One thing truly broke my heart.
FT Island did not win the Rock Music Award like how I expected.
Unfortunately, the award went to Boohwal.
Congratulation to Boohwal by the way.
I truly loved their song (and not to mention their vocalist).

This is surely devastating.
MAMA 2009 marked the first award show for 2009 in which FT Island was nominated with their new (though now, not so new member) Song Seunghyun.
I am pretty sure they totally want to win the award.
The boys must be pretty disappointed for not winning this award.
I know I am disappointed they didn’t win.
Strange how FT Island lead the vote poll in MAMA 2009’s website yet they lost.
But maybe I can’t read Korean well and couldn’t understand what the poll really meant.

I wonder how the boys feel.
How Seunghyun would feel for not winning the award with FT Island.
They were actually present at the award show minus Hongki who was away for drama's filming.
Look at how sad the four of them looked!
Seunghyun's dissapointment truly showed through his expression!
I am sad to watch this.
Though they looked HOT, but they were clearly dissapointed.

Even worst when the camera zoomed at Seunghyun when Boohwal was announced as the winner.
He surely looked as if he really wanted to win.
And Boohwal sat right behind them!
How cruel could that be?
They lost and they had to turn around and faced their sunbaes.
Aww ~ looked at how sad Seunghyun is, it hurts me!

It’s okay not to win.
At least they know they work hard and got nominated.
There will always be next time, boys!

I am sure they are happy to work hard, and I am sure they are very satisfied with everything they are doing right now.

FT Island is always the best for me.

As for the lighter part of the post,
Let’s enjoy Seunghyun and Jonghoon’s appearance on MBC Drama 식신원정대 (MBC Drama God of Cookery Expedition).
My favorite part of the show - where they sprayed some kind of sauce called 고삼차 into Jonghoon’s and Seunghyun’s mouth in which Seunghyun responded with a nasty yet cute “아프카크” and because I have no idea what that meant, I still found it amusing to see Jonghoon giggled when Seunghyun responded that way.

Fortunately it wasn’t kanari or else the boys will be dead due to its awful smell.

The show left me hungry.
Watching the two hot boys eating - they surely made meat looked so desirable.

Right, all that is left for me is to wait for episode 3 of SBS E!TV아이돌 막내 반란시대 (SBS E!TV Idol Magnae Rebellion) to be uploaded into YouTube because the preview looked promising.
I have to admit, this show is seriously funny.
Got to love the interaction between Seunghyun, Dongho of U-Kiss (my favorite magnae from other groups), Jinwoon of 2AM, T-Max’s Yoonhwa and Mighty Mouth’s Shori-J (he is hilarious).
I still laugh whenever I watched the part where Shori-J greeted Seunghyun and Jinwon with “brother from another mother”.
They are like real brothers.
The show really makes me laughed.
The segment where they rant about other artists while holding stand-ups of those artists truly is my favorite.
Can’t believe Seunghyun brought Kim Taehee’s stand-up board on the second episode!
Who would had thought Seunghyun is bad at that high jump thingy?
And him serenading the female guest with acoustic guitar *swoon* is just beautiful.

Installing New Live Streaming Program.

I am very thankful today.
Remember how I used to rant about how slow the connection of TVAnts before?
I used to hate to watch TVAnts on my laptop ; kept on buffering and showing me nothing but blank screen.

But not anymore.

I was just surfing through SBS 미남이시네요 SOOMPI thread,
When someone asked where to watch live streaming program,
And someone else recommended Livestation.
I opened the link and download it,
And tadaa ~ Livestation works well on my laptop!
It works like magic!
I was afraid it might not work or buffer for hours like TVAnts but it really doesn’t.
It doesn’t buffer like how TVAnts did and it took just short minutes for it to connect to the preferred TV stations.
It works like magic.
Though SBS took longer time to connect than KBS ; I hope it will work tonight.
But considering my internet connection at night is slower than during the day, I just have to be online earlier so that it can get connected before 미남이시네요 started.
Today’s episode’s preview looks so great.

I need my Jeremy and Shin Woo’s dose in my daily life.

I had found SBS and KBS channels and yes, finally found MBC too.
And I am so thankful that I have found Livestation live streaming thingy.
It is better than TVAnts - for now and I hope forever.
The quality is okay but some channels just kept on lagging.
Well, as long as I can watch those channels, it doesn't matter.

Now,
I can watch SBS 미남이시네요 tonight live.
Not to mention all the other shows I wanted to watch.
Ah ~ if only I found Livestation before, it would be better.

Right now I’m watching KBS.
It got the best quality out of all the Korean channels available.
It doesn't lag at all and it got connected very fast.
Oh ~ they are showing the preview of the drama KBS Iris.
Looks hot but still, I am just too addicted to 미남이시네요 to watch Iris.
Dang, Iris looks really good.
My dad would probably really love to watch Iris.
Even Korean CFs looks very interesting.
This is so random.

Just got connected to SBS - but it is not as good as KBS.
It keeps lagging though I can hear and see it on the screen.
I hope it got better tonight.

Ah, interesting.
I found M-NET Music Korea channel, Arirang Korean channel, and YTN Channel.
I thought those were cabel channels.
How did it end up here?
Haven't try those yet but it seems interesting.
I'll try them later for sure.

Now watching Arirang Pops in Seoul.
It's featuring girls groups' member than pitched for the baseball games.
I see UEE and now it changed to Girls' Generation Yuri.

FT Triple And Their Love Letter.

I was still in the bad mood after ranting when I saw this.
FT Island’s sub group, FT Triple finally releases the MV of their song, 러브레터 (Love Letter) today.
This is the MV in which they shoot in Cebu, Philippines and got stranded due to the storm, as many thought Raining PV was the one shoot in Cebu.
No, this one was.

Two words for FT Triple, AWESOME SONG!
Okay, it is cliché to hear me saying that FT Island’s songs are all good, great, awesome, etc.
But this is serious, honestly.
The song is well, almost similar to FT Island’s style itself but it sounds so good.
I fall in love with the chorus immediately.
The verses are kind of easy-to-forget-hard-to-memorize but that was what I said about Raining before too,
And I’m sure I’ll be obsessed (strong word huh?) over this song very soon (like tomorrow perhaps?).
This sound much like Lie, but in a more upbeat and fresher sound,
The rap parts in the verses, melancholy chorus.

But this song is so sweet yet very sad!
I can’t imagine this song sang by Hongki at all.
Jaejin’s voice fit this song so well - he owned this song all by himself.
Hongki doesn’t have the voice to fit melancholy-sweet-tune song.
He suits the angst-emo-ridden ballad that could make you cry by the first word he sang.

One thing confused me.
The rap parts in the song were told to be done by Jaejin, but why on earth did I hear Seunghyun’s voice all the way?
I swore I was like “since when Seunghyun became a part of FT Triple?”
I could hear his voice in some of the rap parts.
For real, this is not a lie.
Especially during the second rap part - the short one.
The first rap part surely sounds like Jaejin's voice.
The rap part just screamed “Seunghyun part” whenever I heard it.
Until I looked at the description of the MV in YouTube by the lovely loyal FT Island videos uploader, it stated that it seemed Seunghyun helped, a bit.
But still, I hear Seunghyun rapping, not Jaejin.
Okay, I heard Jaejin’s voice in the rap parts too, but most likely I heard Seunghyun voice the most.
Maybe it is because they both shared the same rap style,
That’s it, I strongly believed this is the reason - same rapping style.
Maybe I am too Seunghyun-bias.
Ah ~ maybe I am wrong.

But what’s with FT Island’s songs starting with choruses lately?
Lie started with the chorus and so did this song.
New style?

The MV is beautiful.
Got to say Cebu had such beautiful scenery.
It is good that they choose Cebu.
To say that it is well done, well, I’d seen better FT Island’s MV which is better done that this but this MV is just awesomely beautiful.
The scenes at the abandoned building reminded me so much of Raining PV.
Same director perhaps?
Love the airplane shoot at the beginning so much though but not liking the zoomed in scene of the girl - kind of creepy.
Not digging the white outfits they wore in some scenes in the MV,
But loving the blue-white-black plaid shirt Jaejin wore because it reminded me of his image during 사랑앓이 times.

Talking about image,
Jonghoon and headbands are PURELY LOVE!
He totally rocks that style - even if anyone else had done it way earlier.
Jonghoon + blonde + headbands = AWESOMENESS OVERLOAD.
Minhwan is looking good with new hairstyle,
Finally out from the neat maroon hair and off to some volume in his hairstyle!
I want his black-white stripe cardigan!
Jaejin loses his bowl-cut!
Keep this hairstyle, please.
But the white outfits got to go.

FT Triple is set to debut on MNET M!Countdown on 29th October 2009.
With only the three of them on stage,
I am sure going to miss FT Island as a five-member band.
They hadn’t been active lately as a whole band,
And I missed that.
Correction, I miss Hongki on stage.
I miss Seunghyun on stage too.
Sometimes I wish Hongki didn’t get that role as Jeremy in SBS 미남이시네요,
So that they could always have the time to promote their songs together, as a whole band,
But not having Hongki as Jeremy would be awkward because I LOVE him as Jeremy.

Anyway, I am going to support FT Triple no matter what.
I am still considering whether to buy or not to buy Double Date, FT Island’s repackage album.
My mom said it will be a waste to only have three new songs and FT Triple mini album with only three songs too in the repackage album but she didn’t say I couldn’t buy it.
Maybe I’ll ask my dad to buy it for my birthday.
But Double Date is a limited release, with only 20,000 copies to be released.

This part is the depressing part of this supposed-to-be happy post.

FT Island Nomination on MNET Asian Music Award.

Several days ago, K-Pop fans (including me) were surprised by the cancellation of the yearly event, MNET Korean Music Festival (MKMF).
It hit me big times because I am a big fan of that award show and had been waiting all year for it.

However,
MNET finally opened the website to MNET Asian Music Award (MAMA), to be replacing MKMF this year.
Yes, you heard me right.
No more MKMF but say hello to MAMA.

So I went to the website just now,
Knowing that the voting period is now opened until I don’t know when because my Korean is limited,
But I was surprised when I saw FT Island wasn’t nominated for the “Best Male Group Award” like how they got nominated last year in MKMF (and lost to Big Bang).
I searched for more nominations and realized,
FT Island had been nominated for Rock Music Award for their song 바래 instead.
They are competing against Boohwal (one of my favorite too), Seo Taiji (aww ~ the tough competitor), Jang Giha and The Faces (the weirdest band ever) and Cherry Filter (got to the love the vocalist).

Okay.
WHY IS IT FT ISLAND IS NOT NOMINATED IN “BEST MALE GROUP AWARD”?
I wonder why - they are a group and they are the YOUNGEST one among those rock groups they were nominated with.
It was surprising even SG Wannabe was nominated in the "Best Male Group Award".
Not fair!
Ah wait ~ even Lee Seunggi aren't nominated for the "Best Male Singer Award".
I am so hating this.
FT Island doesn’t even make much rock songs like the other nominees.
They are also competing for the “Song of The Year” award but well, since I am quite sure there are “other songs” which might win that one - I just kind of gave up.

They haven’t win any charts this year (and only GOD knows how heart broken I am to know many idol groups won charts except for FT Island) and winning this award might be the only chance for me to see my boys very happy.

MAMA will be aired on Channel V throughout Asia (and yes, Southeast Asia including Malaysia is included but poor me who doesn’t have Channel V through my Astro).

FT Island Comebacks With "Lie".

How am I supposed not to post anything when FT Island kept on surprising me with new releases?
I am freaking happy right now - it is impossible not to post anything.

After receiving much love for the song ‘I Hope’ off their 3rd album released
recently, FT Island will be returning to the Kpop realm once more.

FT Island will be releasing an album ‘Double Date’ end-October, and it will be
divided into ‘One Date’ and ‘Two Date’ albums. And for the first album ‘One
Date’, the song ‘Lie’ will be revealed.

‘Lie’ is a song that talks about the heartbreak that lingers even after breaking up with that someone you love. The song will be revealed through online music sites and also Mnet on 13th October.

Meanwhile, each of the FT Island members are doing their individual activities while member Lee HongKi participates in SBS drama ‘You’re Beautiful’. They will be back again as a group on 14th and 15th November for their concert.

Lie is a very beautiful song!
It really brings back the time when FT Island sings 사랑앓이 and 나쁜여자야.
The piano arrangement for the song is freaking AWESOME!
I have told you Hongki's voice fit angsty ballad song more than upbeat song.
One thing worth my enjoyment is that Seunghyun got more rap lines!
Like freaking more lines than any songs they used to perform!
Okay, but one thing totally freaked me out right now.
How in the world did Seunghyun sounded so SIMILAR to Wonbin when he raps for this song?
Gosh, for once I thought it was Wonbin who was rapping,
Until I realized, ah ~ no way, it was Seunghyun, right?
But anyway, I am a very happy Primadonna right now!
There is nothing wrong with FT Island and ballads.
They just fit each other very well.
The song is just pure GENIUS BALLAD.
I am listening to it on replay for the 23rd times now.

You know what?
I might just love Lie more than 바래 and I don't care if someone is going to bash FT Island for having such a common song name.
Go ahead, my FT Island boys are still awesome.

This ballad suits fall season so perfectly.
With solo male singers all back with their ballads,
FT Island is sure to be back too, with their ballad as well.
FT Island and ballads - the beautiful combination even more beautiful than vanilla ice-cream and crushed Oreo's biscuits or Coca-Cola mixed with vanilla ice-cream.

I bet my mom is so going to love this.
She was hoping for a ballad from FT Island for so long after 나쁜여자야.

I wonder if FT Island is going to perform this song or not.
If they are - considering this song is quite long,
I bet there is going to be more badly chopped parts.
I don't like that.
It will be better if they perform it full lenght or don't perform at all.
It hurt me when I listened to their shortened songs on music shows.
But considering their busy solo activities ;
I don't think so.

Anyway, good luck for FT Island with this song.
For me, it is already the best for fall.

The whole MV is just too fun to watch, I kept on watching it over and over again and still, laughed at every scene.

The whole MV is just way better than Indian Boy, I must say ;
Though I also love Indian Boy and still have that song on repeat sometimes.
It brings back the Circus feel, and I hope it will bring the Circus success back for his repackage album as well.

Got to love MC Mong and his creativity.
