Fly High Like The Birds, FT Island.

I could not believe that I will skip class because of FT Island—the consequence of staying up pretty damn late to watch the new music video and listen to all the songs in the new remake album from FT Island make me wake up damn late to attend the morning class in college this morning. The class starts at nine and I find my self waking up at eleven. Yeah, this is like so fucking well to my upcoming grade.

Anyway, back to the original reason for this post—FT Island finally releases the music video for 새들처럼 (Like The Birds) as the title song for the remake album MEMORY IN FT ISLAND they simultaneously release on midnight of October 10.

Oh my God, what in the world is this perfection. It is not a lie that the five boys of FT Island are all pretty much perfect in their own personal way but for the sake of my fucking life—how could they become this amazingly perfect in such a short period of time. The image for the music video is so beautiful, I shed tears of happiness over this piece of perfection in three minutes and thirty seconds.

The original song is quite lovely by its own but the remake from FT Island makes the song a million times more wonderful. FT Island does all the justice in the world for this song—to be able to make an even lovelier song from a song that comes out before any of the members are actually born. This is the kind of song that sticks to your mind after just three to four times. It is smooth and upbeat, mostly a fun song to smile and dance along in whatever situation.

Have I actually mentioned how lovely Hongki sings and how it wonderfully blends in with the harmonizing raps from Seunghyun and Jaejin. I have no doubt that the three creates such a beautiful collaboration and a harmony that not all groups in this growing Korean Pop world would manage to create but this song proves that these three boys are perfect in terms of vocal.

I love how Seunghyun sounds stronger and more powerful in his rap nowadays. He sheds the image of a new member pretty well and he blends in with the flow of the music just perfectly. He raps smoothly in this song and makes a nice collaboration with Jaejin. Jaejin—he has such wonderful voice that it makes me want to cry every time he manages to have parts in songs to sing. He is good in the terms of vocal but his rap talent is incredibly good. As for Hongki—come on, do I really have to say anything about this powerful vocalist with his incredible vocal. His voice is distinctive and very powerful, he makes this song wonderful.

FT Island does justice for all the songs they remake, unlike some.

The music video, again—it is beautiful in terms of the cinematography and the colors and the overall video. It does not have an obvious storyline—or maybe not obvious enough for me except that five boys having a ride on a Jeep which a drummer kid drives while dancing randomly before they begin to run wildly across this empty desert and ends up with their instruments and mysterious sets of spotlights that appear out of nowhere. I am not the Director but I like this concept because it gives a free spirit sense to whoever watches it. Putting aside the usual heavily dramatic and emotional music video from FT Island—lets count the time we cry at the music videos of Until You Return or maybe Heaven and even the oblivious storyline of Hello Hello—this actually gives the boys of FT Island a bright and light environment, probably similar to how they are in the music video of I Hope but minus the romantic time travelling storyline. It is fun and light and makes whoever watches it want to join in the fun. Well, I know I want to be a part of that fun music video.

I do not give a damn about the controversial Jeep or anything. I only pay attention to the great music video and the song itself. As for the boys of FT Island—well, they are like the cherries on top of my favorite sundae. They give perfection and satisfaction, all in the same time—to my ears and my eyes.

What makes this music video fun is the fair share of camera time on each member—this time we could not see too much Hongki like how it is in the music video of Love Love Love or too little time of guitarist Jonghoon like in Hello Hello. We have ample close-ups shots for each member—with an exception of Hongki who of course snags most but who is going to complain anyway—and we have the opportunity to enjoy a solo guitar riff from leader guitarist. All fan-girls will not be able to complain anything now.

We have many eye candy moments to share around.

Most fan-girls and that includes me, probably miss the time when FT Island comes out with heavy dramatic and emotional music videos that make us cry and want to kill someone or just simply cut our wrist in exasperation—watching the boys severely beaten or just simply killed off by some villain we still have vengeance on—but to have a space to breath and just have fun in music videos are actually quite fun. The only time we manage to see them brightly smile or jumping around like the kids they will always be are probably in their Japanese music videos—the overdose of jump scenes in Let It Go and the swag moments in Flower Rock, who could forget. I give out my compliment to the director for this chance for the members to just let go and be free to have fun in this music video.

Yes, I have listen to all five songs in the remake album and yes, I have already point out my favorites. I do not know if I will have the time to write a review on each song but I guess it will probably happen within this week. I am not quite sure about the first comeback performance from FT Island—whether they will appear on MNET M!Countdown or not but I certainly know that they will perform on SBS Inkigayo on Sunday.

With the upcoming comeback from the girl group I still refuse to write in my blog because on certain reasons that piss me off big time and Secret—my new favorite girl group—I surely do hope that FT Island will eventually win something on music show charts. I miss the time when they have the chance to say out their acknowledgement upon a victory. Korean music world needs something that branches out from their usual Korean Pop bubblegum pop songs with dance moves that has somehow bore me—like the music from a band like FT Island. FT Island deserves to win. They deserve to win more than anyone else and I am sorry to say this to fans of other groups but they really need to win. FT Island needs to win.

Anyway, I need to perform my prayer right now. I will get back into considering the review on MEMORY IN FTISLAND soon. In the mean time, let us all pray that FT Island will have a huge success with this remake album. FT Island, all the best.

FT Island Says, "Like The Birds".

Oh shit, thank you FNC Music for actually giving me a reason to update my dying blog. And yes, thank you the five boys of FT Island for making me want to write about your perfection again. Yes everyone, it is finally the time of the year—the time when I died, and came back to live, died again and still, return into the world of the living for the greatness of FT Island has shown.

FT Island is set to make a comeback after months of hiatus since their last release of mini-album Return, on October 10th. The band of five gorgeous members will release a remake album—Memory In FT Island—on October 10th and the teaser for the title song, 새들처럼—translated as Like The Birds—has been released on October 7th.

And yes, allow me to shine some light upon this perfect fifty-three seconds teaser. Dear every other entertainment companies out there—yes, I am talking to each and every one of you—please take example of how amazing FNC Music does with the teaser for their artists. They do not put in something that will ridiculously disappear in the main music video, some random music bits that does not even have anything to do with the original song. Learn how to tease properly like FNC Music does.

Good job, FNC Music. That was one hell of a perfect teaser that literally tease.

Next, let us talk about how gorgeous the boys look in the teaser. Song Seunghyun my dear, I know I practically want to kill someone when I saw your current hairstyle previously but now that I managed to accept with an open heart, I think it suits you perfectly. This goes to all of the members—Hongki, your curly hairstyle receives two thumbs up from me, don’t worry. As for Jaejin, I am so freaking thankful you cut it shorter. Even if it is still blonde, I like it. Leader Jonghoon, why do you always look ridiculously perfect? Please don’t ruin my bias list. And hey youngest Minhwan, God you look awesome.

Anyone wants to join in the troll session as I can’t get over Minhwan driving the jeep?

The song is a remake of a 1988 song by Byun Jisup. Yes, I have heard the original song and yes, it was amazing. But it was in a slower tone. FT Island just made it into a song worth the head-bang and the dorky dance. Yes, it worth destroying that controversial jeep. I don’t see the harm in it. Mr. Jeep Owner, you are a big time troll.

I still could not figure out a storyline, basically just a music video about a group of five boys cynically vandalize a jeep in the middle of the dessert while throwing random music notes and dance around like monkeys before they find their place with the spotlights and instruments to rock their heart out. Okay there dear Mr. Director, I see what you have there.

Now I demand the full music video to be released now.

How am I supposed to go through until October 10th without constantly raping the replay button on YouTube? I don’t feel like doing anything else and thank God it is already Friday here in Malaysia and the weekend is coming. I am going to continuously die with this teaser.

And hey, if there are news about how other artists are avoiding making comebacks in the same month as the girl group I refuse to mention in my blog because on some particular reasons is also making the so-called epic comeback this month, I can see that FNC Music does not fear this. FT Island is still going to release their album, may come whatever in their way.

It is not about the winnings on weekly music shows or the CD sales that matter, it is the gift they want to give to their fans and the music they want to do. I don’t give a fuck if they do not win anything. All I ever care is that FT Island is making a comeback. My whole family will have the weekly dose of FT Island on television with this comeback. Wait until I tell my mother, she will completely freak out.

The full music video is set to release on October 10th, along with the remake album.

Now, it is time to beg my mother to lend me some money to get this into my collection.

Five Treasure Island And Its Satisfaction.

This is actually a surprise—FT Island has releases the music video for their latest Japanese single, Satisfaction on April 5. I remembered that the teaser was released just a little less than a week ago. Anyway, I am not going to complain about it because I like my satisfaction to be sent in early too.

The slow-motions scenes in the music video of Satisfaction must have been the slowest yet the best slow-motions scenes I have even encounter in my life. These slow-motions scenes give a fan girl the perfect moments to stare at the perfections of these five gorgeous boys. Although I have to unwillingly agree that the music video is a bit dull and slightly too simple, but—God saves me—the boys have never look as awesome as they are in any other music video but this one.

Satisfaction—the song is a better improvement than their last Japanese single, So Today—which has to be my least favorite Japanese single from them since their major debut in 2010. I am sorry but I don’t really have So Today as my daily dose of FT Island. I would skip that song most of the time, sorry. But this has a nice anime feeling to it and considering that it is an ending theme for an anime currently, who would argue about that. I love the amazing beat and the flow of the song from its beginning to its end. One thing I particularly like about Satisfaction that it has fair flow of the voices from amazing vocalist Hongki, Jaejin and my absolute bias Seunghyun. I like his rap parts; it adds some edge and funkiness to this song. It gives somewhat an energetic feel to it.

I do not do Japanese translation because I have ditch my Japanese lesson years ago so I will not complain much about the lyrics. Based on observation though, I hear not much of English words but the word Satisfaction in the rap part. I like that it does not have some random English lyrics here and there (in reference of Flower Rock and my favorite Brand New Days).

As for the appearance and the eye candies of the music video, I would have to say that this has to be the most normal yet absolutely amazing appearances of the boys of FT Island that I have ever see. I like this, simple yet it brings out the awesomeness of each member. Although I am missing the blonde on Seunghyun lately, I could not agree more than his current black makes him looks younger by five years. I love his blue jacket, someone please buy one for me. I also like what leader Jonghoon is wearing, it brings out the leader charisma—of which I do not know why I feel it that way. I approve Hongki and his hair, with no extra rant attach.

Jaejin makes putting on a jacket looks so amazingly sexy in the slow-motion scene. It is not easy to make something easy looks sexy but Jaejin pulls it off. I was staring at the screen of my laptop like crazy over the slow-motion scenes. I already expect Seunghyun to do something no one else will—jumping. But hey, he must be the coolest person to jump and looks good simultaneously in a slow-motion shot. Good job, my favorite guitarist. One thing to rant though is the lack of drummer Minhwan and Jonghoon in this amazing music video. Come on, directors tend to have this flaw from one music video to another. Why can’t you satisfy all us fan girls?

Now that I am complete head over heels for this song, I am considering the option of buying the single. Although with the news that FT Island is going to release a Japanese full album—with their previous hits and new song s include in May—I am also thinking about just buying the full album instead. But if I could stare at the perfect album cover of Satisfaction all day long like an insane fan, why would I take the time to wait anyway? I believe FT Island will have it big with Satisfaction, now that it reflects their awesomeness plus it is featured as the ending theme for anime Toriko. Good publicity never hurts, and they are awesome in their own ways anyway.

Wonbin Says, C'mon Girl.

Oh God, please save me this from sexiness. I mean, there is nothing more sexy than witnessing my first Korean crush—Oh Wonbin—looking all mighty fine with all the hand gestures and lip rubbing, plus one hell of a sexy smirk all in fifteen seconds. Sexiness overload, yes. Wonbin, don't make me want to molest kiss my laptop because you are just too perfect and too sexy for my words to express my feelings right now. Oh Wonbin will release his first Japanese single “C'mon Girl” on March 14th. I am watching this damn short yet super sexy teaser for the thirty seventh times and still squealing like a crazy girl over this perfect sexiness. I will have him singing this tune to me anytime, anywhere for sure. This is distracting me from finishing my assignments, seriously. Thank you God, for creating such perfection in the form of Wonbin for me to drool over.

Unfortunately, 2010 has been a year where I spent most of my time watching movies and listening to music rather than watching the great dramas of 2010. I believe that I should not rate a drama without watching it because the only drama I loyally followed in 2010 was 내 여자친구는 구미호 (My Girlfriend Is A Nine-Tailed Fox). I am still in love with that drama, period. I ship Dimple Couple forever.

2010 in general has been a great year in the Korean music industry and also for my own local music industry. I listen to almost every genre and although I am sticking with my bias forever—I am still open to any kind of music. I don't need anyone to bash me and my list because this is honestly what I like from 2010. I don't need any bashing or critics, because I am free to tell anyone what I like. I am free to listen to what you have to say—about your favorites from 2010.

At least I have finally witnessed my bias won awards for their excellent work in 2010. I love watching their success—and now I feel like a freaking mother to all those gorgeous boys. I also enjoy watching the success of others so let us say goodbye to 2010 and welcome 2011, in hope that it will bring even more happiness and success.

I Love You and I Love You, Oh Wonbin.

My favorite member—oh wait, make that ex-member—of FT Island finally comes back as solo artist. Like a dream, Oh Wonbin finally makes a comeback after almost two years since he left FT Island in early 2009. God granted my prayers—Oh Wonbin is finally back. I know this is super late but, I just don’t have the time to actually dedicate my heart and soul for Wonbin this week. I am so sorry.

The first time I read an article on ALLKPOP about the comeback of former FT Island member, I literally screamed in happiness (you can ask my younger sister who witnessed it). I almost got a cardiac arrest. For almost two freaking years, I have only been missing Oh Wonbin from time to time—he finally returns.

사랑해 또 사랑해 (I Love You and I Love You) is his debut single—in collaboration with Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls. But let me get this straight. He once told that the reason why he left FT Island was because of music differences—by mean, he didn’t want to go with the same flow with FT Island in terms of music anymore. But why in the world would his debut single sounds so much like something FT Island—okay, if not maybe FT Triple—would possibly do in an album? Don’t get me wrong. I love the song because it was wonderfully made but I am expecting something literally different. I am not going to argue—I love his debut single and I love him even more now that he is back—but seriously, I just don’t get it.

The single; overall it was beautiful. I love the instrumental—I literally listened to the instrumental version of the song over and over again because it is just too damn beautiful. Wonbin obviously improved drastically in rapping and singing but I am sorry to say that I love Miryo’s parts even more in this song. I am so sorry, Wonbin. Miryo is just too awesome to not be noticed. But I still love their collaboration. The music video; it was nicely made—simple and clean cut—nothing over the top, just plain and nice. I like it, in fact, I think I like it a lot.

I have mixed reviews upon this single. I mean, I freaking love the fact that Wonbin is officially back. I also love how incredibly handsome he looks nowadays—he looks as if he got younger and taller. On the other hand, his debut single isn’t really something amazing because it resembles FT Island’s songs in so many ways (let me be honest, it sounds so much like Love Letter or Lie). I do love his debut single though, I really do.

Despite all of my questions, let us all just celebrate the fact that Oh Wonbin is back. I will always love him—although the space where he used to stay in my heart (and in my purse and in my pencil case and next to my bed) is no longer his place when I accidentally fell in love with Seunghyun—and will always be his fan. The best part about this comeback however, remained to be the fact that my mom thinks he is incredibly cute.

Killjoys, Make Some Noise.

found via weheartit

The last time I actually bought a CD from an American artist would be in 2006—the best CD I ever bought in my collection—The Black Parade from My Chemical Romance. Other than that, I have been spending my money carelessly on buying almost every CD and DVD FT Island released. Now that my favorite American artist—My Chemical Romance—is going to release their latest album on November 22, I am thinking about getting a copy for myself.

I mean, have you heard of their single—Na Na Na (which I swear the original title is freaking long and currently my background song for this blog)—because I think the song rocks big time. I am yet to understand what the hell the song is about (I always have this confusion regarding MCR songs) but I freaking love it. Have you check out its music video? I recommend that you do, now.

The new album—Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys—I guess I should really buy this CD as an addition to my awesome MCR collection. I could by MCR CDs way cheaper than FT Island CDs (this confuses me all the time) and yeah, I practically still have some money.

Beside, I can’t say no to the awesome new music of MCR and the insanely creative lyrics by Gerard Way (I mean, Gerard Way was my crush back then—the ideal man of mine) or else, I am not a real MCR fan. I should really get the album. If only I don’t already have Song Seunghyun in my heart, I would never say no Gerard Way and his new bright hair (though he is happily married).

On a darker note, what would my mom say if she knows that her daughter who typically enjoys giggling over a band with five freaking gorgeous Korean boys actually do have deep interest in a rock band from America. Even worst, my mom thinks the music video for Na Na Na was crazy.

'Cause Baby You're a Firework.

Katy Perry has sung the theme song of my life—so wonderfully, I feel like I want to cry as I sing along with her. The concept of the music video is so beautiful; I want to shed tears because of it. Oh thank you, Katy Perry—for singing a song telling me not feels like a waste of space.

“…You don’t have to feel like a waste of space
You’re original, cannot be replace
If only you knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow…”

Love Love Love.

found via ftisland

I promise I will be back to spam about the level of awesomeness of this beyond imagination music video during my break time. I will be back with my personal spams for sure.

I am terribly sorry about this late spam post—I was at work and well, although my work doesn’t worth a brag, I am still trying to take it seriously because it increases the amount of allowances per month that I have, and in this case, increases the chance for me to buy the DVD and CD that I have listed in my wish list earlier this month. Okay, enough about my ridiculous wish list; it is now time to spam as much I could about our beloved Five Treasure Island and their new music video for their official Korean comeback, 사랑사랑사랑 (Love, Love, Love).

Let me be honest—I have waited this since 08:58 a.m. since there are some news that the full music video will be out at 10:00 a.m. in South Korea time (Malaysia is GMT+8 and South Korea is GMT+9, so in South Korea it is one hour faster) but it doesn’t come out until 09:20 a.m. And good gracious, the music video and the song it self are worth the wait and the anticipation.

Okay, now let us all talk about the music video first. God knows how I love the teaser it self and now that FNC Music gives us the four minutes of pure perfection—what more can I say? I freaking love the concept and I freaking love the whole music video, and this is true because throughout the whole music video, I can’t find anything that makes me want to yell or scream in hate. Despite my longing for the overly dramatic music video (that includes someone beaten up, someone died, etc.), I found my self totally immersed in this music video. Frankly, I could say that I love this ten thousand times better than their previous works—바래 (I Hope) MV, Flower Rock MV, Love Letter MV (although this should have been an exception because it consists of FT Triple), etc.

The dark and gloomy atmosphere of the music video, plus the amazing coloring and filtering and the heart-wrenching storyline beats out any music video that shows nothing but boys dancing around like monkeys and riding luxurious cars or swinging their asses like crazy. This complex and dark simplicity totally brings out the emo FT Island we all know and miss. I have been highlighting about the angst that I hope to see in this music video and well, let’s just say that I am freaking satisfied—although no one dies or hurt, but the storyline of the two puppets broke my heart. Ah, even puppets want to be in love.

Oh god, the song. I am glad that it isn’t some cheerful pop and I am even happier that FT Island goes back to their prime days of performing emotional angst rock-ballad (although I can’t categorize this song in either rock-ballad or just rock). I love the rhythm and it is hell addictive. You could sing along after just one listen—like I am right now. Hongki’s vocal sounds incredibly good and surely, it emphasizes his huskiness. The rap—oh god, I was surprised when Seunghyun starts to rap. The rap parts usually gets annoying but not in this song. It fits so well, it adds the angst and harshness to this melodramatic song. I love it, and I am off to search for the translation.

I think that I am getting used of Hongki’s hairstyle—despite my hesitation about it, I guess I have learn to like it. One thing that really bothers me from this music video is the lack of Jonghoon, Jaejin and Minhwan. There are just too much exposure of Hongki and the puppets plus, a tiny bit of Seunghyun—just because he does the rap parts. Okay, I need to emphasize this; FT Island has five members, so please equally show each and every one of them in the music video. FT Island isn’t just about Hongki. Though, I love the concepts that the boys opt—nice and simple boys in neat suits don’t hurt at all. Thumbs up for the style but still, hands down for the hairstyles. I guess Jaejin and Jonghoon rock their hairstyle but not Hongki and perhaps, get rid of that wavy off Seunghyun. I love it better if he has his Missing You days’ hairstyle—the dark shade and messy—rather than darker shade and wavy. But still, they are five freaking gorgeous boys in no matter what hairstyles they have.

This is random. Someone just points out to me that the flashing walls—the awesome flashing walls that I hope I could have in my bedroom—features this artwork called ‘The Temptation of St. Bernard’ by Dali and you could point it out too if you focus at the flashing walls and found an animation of something with sort of long pair of legs. Even the male puppet seems to resemble Dali in a way or two. Yeah, that is what I am talking about. Well, I could have said the director of this music video is pretty creative but I still want the flashing walls—I want the flash on my walls to change every second.

And no, you will not find FT Island as puppets in this music video. They don’t even wear the same clothes as in the teaser so don’t look for FT Island puppets. They are alive and gorgeous—totally not five freaking gorgeous puppets as we have fall in love with in the teaser.

Come to think about, would it be necessary for me to make a different post regarding the songs from the mini-album Beautiful Journey? Or should I just keep my opinions to my self because no one freaking care to know?

On the other hand, I guess Hongki and Jaejin now both have Twitter, as Jonghoon followed them—so that kinds of verify that both accounts are genuine. Go ahead and follow them. Both have quite interesting usernames.

Puppet Teaser.

found via ftisland

If I could point at anyone for creating such a teasing teaser that not just makes a fan screams in vain but almost got one hell of a cardiac arrest, I will definitely point my finger to FNC Music. The purpose of having a teaser is to tease and to attract attentions from fans onto what they are going to release soon. And well, congratulations FNC Music, you make my morning one hell of a tease as I watch the teaser for FT Island's comeback title song, "사랑사랑사랑 (Love Love Love).

Oh, what a teaser! I almost got a terrible scare while watching this, because I thought I was watching some sort of a horror flick teaser instead of the FT Island teaser. I love the flow of creativity—something I haven’t seen for quite a long time in the mainstream of Korea music, now that idol groups dominate almost every thing with bubbly pop funky auto tune songs that are enjoyable, but not real music. FT Island is returning, and so does the real music.

The concept is brilliant, I must say. Puppets—five gorgeous boys who would pass as mannequins without wrong as puppets; I have to say this is quite intelligent. I am anticipating the angst of this music video and the song it self. Gosh, I freaking love this concept. About the styles—well, just have to say they are five f*cking gorgeous mannequins, even with the ugly hairstyle. And that goes for you, vocalist with red hair.

And as for now, in anticipation of the release of the official MV on August 25, let us all appreciate the five f*cking gorgeous puppets with their instruments. I am willing to give everything to have those five puppets in my collection. I am not kidding.

Treasure

I found no words to describe the perfection and the beauty of this amazingly done music video. This somehow proves, that you don't need boys with abs. You don't need boys who dance like crazy. You don't need over-flowing adrenaline. You just need five boys with instruments, smiling and serenade you with one hell amazing song for about five minutes and you will find yourself floating among the fluffy clouds.

Thumbs up for the music video. Two thumbs up for the song. Thumb up for excessive smiles and cuteness. Thumbs up for Seunghyun's hair but thumb down for every one else's hair including Hongki's blonde.

Somehow I find this as a breath of fresh music amidst of all the autotune songs. And somehow, I find "Treasure" as my favorite Japanese song ever. More than "Brand New Days".

Brand-New Days.

Okay, I seriously need to blame someone (or something) for the lack of Internet usage lately. This fascination with soccer has to stop as well before I turn into some freaking girl who talks soccer all day. Got to go back to my crazy fan girl mode or else I will be ruined. On the darker side, my Twitter for Samsung Mobile application is pissing me off thus explaining the lack of updates.

Well, FT Island has done it again. They finally released the PV (promotional video) of their latest Japanese single, “Brand-New Days”. I don’t know the exact date of which I assumed to be on July 2 (forgive my lack of awareness of this) but hey, as long as it is released, who care about the date right? So the full PV is released and the song itself is now listenable to Primadonnas.

Oh, I love this concept. Making a music video in a music video. But come on, what with the involvement of Westerners? FT Island has an Englishman director. I am not going to argue about that because I love this amazing music video. It is simple yet it fits FT Island concept nicely. LOL moments at the end of the PV. English again, huh? Kinds of reminded me of "Love" MV. What's up with the English nowadays, FNC Music?
The backdrop - OMG - I love it.

Not much about the clothings on the boys. Love the styles but get rid of those horrible suspended pants Hongki is wearing. I love what Minhwan, Jaejin and Seunghyun are wearing and have nothing to say about Jonghoon too. But I have one thing to complain though. There is a major lackness of Leader Choi Jonghoon throughout the PV, like seriously. Not enough MBC Leader. And God, please get rid of Hongki’s blonde already. It has been a year and the style is irritating me even more. I am not used to see Jaejin's hairstyle and I don't even know the reason why. I wish he could go back to the times when he looked extremely adorable. I love how Minhwan is given a shorter black hair and wavy Seunghyun - I have no arguments with that. I love his hair in whatever style it is. I love that he looked hot (oh, here comes the pervy noona again) instead of just cute nowadays. My over-flowing love for this rapping kid just came out. Sorry.

You know what, FNC Music has heard my complaints during “Flower Rock”. Seunghyun finally have lines - I mean LINES and not just random raps - in this single. I don’t know if this happen because Seunghyun actually writes the lyric for “Brand-New Days” or what, but I love this. I finally see the microphone stand for Seunghyun. Thank you FNC Music and Warner Music Japan. I am so proud of my bias for being able to write Japanese lyrics even when he isn’t good yet in Japanese. I am so proud of Seunghyun, I want to cry (now I feel like his mother or something).

Overall, good job with this song, FT Island. This could seriously pass as an anime opening theme song. I love it because it gives a fresh vibe, more like a summer rock song. Now that we have been presented with their latest Japanese single, I think it is time for the five treasures to hit the saloon, trim those fugly long hairs and get makeovers before presenting Primadonnas all around the world with their Korean comeback instead. I am dying here (literally) while waiting for their Korean comeback. Seriously, their juniors are starting to make me bored (just a bit, not in a bad way).

Please comeback hurry, FT Island. I could no longer stand listening to your old Korean songs.

Love Music Video.

Yesterday, I have become crazy trending #fishandcake on Twitter as my support to the Fish and Cake day. In case you need your memories to be refreshed - Fish and Cake is the full name of the abbreviation FNC. Ten points for whoever guesses right. FNC Music is the company that manages FT Island, CN Blue and lots more promising bands that are schedule to debut into mainstream in the future.

So, FNC Music has releases the music video of “Love”, the title track for CN Blue. I have spend at least five minutes watching a music video that tells a story about how four young men stumble upon a boring café where they take over the mini-stage to brighten the ambience before they go up to the rooftop and sing their heart out with audiences clap their hands altogether. Yeah, I have seen a music video way better than this and I have to say, oh come on FNC Music, the standards of your artistes’ music videos are usually above the usual par - someone always getting beaten, someone always cry and someone usually almost die. But hey, this isn’t as bad as how FNC Music could let someone takes chops and bits of a Chinese movie and mingle it all together to make a music video of “Missing You” from FT Island when I have been expecting a music video as angst as “Heaven” or “너울때까지 (Until You Come Back)” music videos. Yeah, I still have nightmares about that. But “Love” music video is simple - soothing to the part that you can smile while watching it because you can expect that no one is going to run towards the stage and stab one member of the band randomly or someone jumping off the rooftop amidst of clapping their hands. I am use to watch FNC Music releases a music video with a storyline, even if the storyline is as vague as the music video of “위톨이야 (I’m a Loner)”. I like it, but am I hook to it? Well, not yet but surely, it could happen anytime soon. But soon is not tomorrow or this week perhaps.

But the song - it is such a refreshing change from their previous debut title track. I love the soothing rhythm yet I also love the rock break near the end of the song. It feels better than watching a dance break during a dance group performance. The moment I hear the song I know that the song will nail it. But to have their come back during a flood of come back is like FT Island 2008 déjà vu all over again. There are the line of newbie coming back like F(x), 4Minute, MBLAQ; the line of superstars such as Super Junior, SS501 and not to forget the world-star-to-be-or-perhaps-they-need-lots-more-hard-work Wonder Girls. It is going to be like a wild jungle out there and I hope CN Blue wins this time.

Oh, on the other hand, see what I found while surfing Twitter. SeunghyunFacts posts that the former member of CN Blue, Kwangjin is now preparing to debut with a band where he is the leader with another member, who is none other than the younger brother of FT Island’s Song Seunghyun, Song Sehyun. OMG, how good could this band be? I would love to see Seunghyun very own younger brother to be in a band and to see the interaction between the two brothers. FNC family is getting bigger and bigger. But hey, this is just some news I pick up from Twitter and please don’t believe me 100% or else if this is not true, you will be disappointed. I am just writing this out of my bias and faux excitement although if it is true, I will be jumping around like a crazier fan girl.

My life hasn’t been interesting lately thus I fill this blog with my fan girl mode posts instead. Yeah, who would want to read a story of a boring nineteen year-old girl who writes nothing but about frustration anyway.

CN Blue is Coming Back

CN Blue is making their comeback. Now that FT Island is busy with their major Japanese debut, FNC Music surely knows how to make more money - by letting their second band into the spotlight with a comeback. I have no complains about that though, I love having CN Blue back with new songs (well, I know my mother will be extremely happy).

The MV teaser was released yesterday - I got a bit late since I was out with my dad when the teaser was released. The title track is “Love” and from the teaser, I don’t know whether it was just me but I have a slight déjà vu case when it reminded me of FT Island period with “바래 (I Hope)”. Jazzy club with cheesy MC, yeah things like that. They reminded me of The Beatles maybe? Jazzy club with cheesy Bring back the 50’s I assume? I am a bit worried about their hairstyle though I do love what Jungshin has - no more ninja hairstyle. But I spotted Minhyuk with shorter hair. Well, got to have a clearer look first before saying anything.

But I love the way this MV teaser works. Not just it doesn’t feel like a MV teaser but the superb English on the beginning and the ending of the teaser makes it feel as if it was a movie teaser instead. It gives such a different vibe from any other teasers out there that doesn’t excite me (excluding FT Island, whatever they do excite me) and it makes me want more instantly. Wow, FNC Music has sharpened their English unknowingly huh? "...amazing music is coming to you..." well, I surely hope the music is amazing.

About the song - oh I love it already. To wait until May 19 gives me headache. Why everything must comes out on May 19 - FT Island major Japanese debut single and CN Blue mini-album, both on the same day? Oh FNC Music, talk about knowing the way on how to make a fan of both bands to spend more money on both bands! Oh well, just wait.

In case nobody realizes this, FNC Music has two official YouTube accounts. THIS is for FT Island and THIS is for CN Blue. I guess they want to separate both bands’ videos unlike any other entertainment companies that combined all videos from all artists together. Don’t go and panic when the account you subscribed to has no videos from either FT Island and CN Blue.

New Found Love.

So basically, I have found a new lover through the Internet. Ever since I meet this usable application name Internet, I have always find a way to put myself somewhere in the net thus I end up having tons of accounts and sign up on almost websites available on the net itself. However, I have truly found the one true love on the Internet through a friend and I have to say, it gives the pleasure as much as my blog could give. It gives me a pleasure to speak what’s on my mind and give me the convenience of describing my words in simpler method.

found via yavorancho

It is true; I am in love with TUMBLR. Call me lame or whatsoever for just now realizing how beautiful the pleasure of having tumblr is but hey, at least I found it. I am not yet on the pro level of using tumblr but I love it. It is not as sophisticated as my other accounts yet it give me the sweetness a simplicity could give. I already have it for quite some time but it is only now that I want to be more active in using it. Come on, you can shoot me for delaying the enjoyment of having tumblr.

THREEZERO11.TUMBLR

Fancy the name? I am this obsessed over numbers and words lately and I can’t but to use it almost on every website I am newly created. Most importantly at the age of nineteen, I finally realized that I got obsessed over every little thing. Pretty boys in a band, sneakers, high heels, hand bags, gadgets, etc - I can’t even find anything that I won’t like anymore. Oh, except for brats. I still hate brats or particularly, three rich brats which happened to be someone I know very well.

I am no longer in love with Facebook because the more I scroll for my friends’ updates the more I realized that somehow my world and their worlds are just two separated worlds that could never be combined together. You get the picture. MySpace has long been an official pain in the butt and if I ever continue to get notifications about those lame applications that do nothing but filling my inbox even faster that my webpage reload, I think I might go and delete that account. On the brighter note, I am still in love much with my Twitter because now that Korean celebrities are using more Twitter too, I get to know their updates straight from the celebrities themselves.

I have already taken off the hiatus mode on my YouTube after uploading the MV for “Flower Rock”, just to notice that several of my videos, mostly music videos and one performance video has been slapped with copyright materials and one of it has been illegally binded to iSBS which mean that some countries might not be able to watch my video. Damn it SBS. I have already made a back-up account, just in case my current account got suspended. You can actually found my empty back-up account here. The username for this account is slightly more straightforward. You can easily find me there without getting lost.

So, in case you are wondering where the hell I am when this blog seems to be quiet and abandoned, head over to my new tumblr page and you’ll find that somehow, I am not dead yet. To hell to those people who think that I have already perish but come on, bad people die hard. It is those kind people who die first. I want to stay evil for a long time for my revenge, remember? So hit me, I am still alive on my blog and my tumblr. I don’t need people to survive, I need air to do so.

Flower Rock MV.

Now the real hyperventilating moments have officially started. Okay, I will let you do whatever you want because I know I have. Just two days ago I wrote about the f-cking short eleven seconds teaser of “Flower Rock”, a new Japanese single from FT Island which also marked FT Island major debut in Japan. Wait no longer you impatient fan girls because the MV of “Flower Rock” has been released today, April 30 instead of May 3!

Let me tell you what I think when I first heard of the song. I thought it was some anime song, I swore. This real rock could pass as song for any action anime (I could imagine it becoming an opening of Naruto, maybe Bleach). The one thing that I totally love about “Flower Rock” that it is REAL ROCK. I don’t mean angst-ridden songs with guitar riffs throughout the song but a real song that makes you want to do head-banging. I know I did. The Honglish parts are a bit eh~ but never mind, it is still good. Jaejin does have parts in the song but nothing major. Just some minor lines - more like ad-libs, no? Hongki's voice is very good for this song. I will try not to complain about not giving Seunghyun any chance to sing at all but hey, the song is absolutely good so what is there to complain anyway?

Yes, the English lines are a bit unexplainable. Is it “everybody hands up” or is it “everybody handsome”? I don’t know anything about Japanese so I won’t judge how their Japanese pronunciation at all. The song is very energetic and you can’t help but to fall in love with you, if you are a fan of FT Island of course. And if you are not a fan, I will recommended that you listen to this Japanese song first before I introduce you to the other Japanese singles that FT Island has. I dare to say I like this a bit better than their previous singles - Soyogi, The One, I Believe Myself and Raining. I am anticipating the energy level of their live performance of this song too. Sincerely, I also dare to say this is a good song to mark their major debut in Japan after being known as indie band in the land of the rising son. It would actually be better if they applied this kind of music into their Korean music even when I don’t have anything to complain about their Korean music (I can’t have enough of any of their Korean songs anyway). The song is jumpy, energetic, awesome and kind of addictive after the second listen.

About the MV - hey, FT Island as janitors. I don’t mind having these handsome janitors at my school before. I actually like the idea of putting wigs on these boys’ head as they pretended to be janitors but what’s with giving a blonde another blonde wig? But surely you have to know that Jonghoon looks hot even with beard and moustache. Jaejin rocks his afro (and I mean it, I don’t really like boys with afros) meanwhile Seunghyun might have taken back his Actor Song’s wig from Idol Magnae Rebellion times. Minhwan puts on a blonde wig too and he is just so adorable. I almost melt when the boys took off their wigs in such dynamic and charismatic way, tossing it away along with their fake equipments. The storyline is very much easy with no hidden agenda or whatsoever. I love simple MV. Overall, I love that the boys could do head-bangs and jump around in this MV with the song. I have watched them cry, drenched in rain, screaming their hearts out and even beaten to death but I enjoy watching them having fun the most. The ending of the MV makes me laugh, because at least we could see the dorky sides of the boys once again. Just imagine the eye-candies overload once the HQ version of the MV releases.

FT Island will soon start to actively participate in Japanese broadcasts so please anticipate their major debut. The full single album is set to release on May 19 with two more songs so if you are rich and you could afford their album, buy it. With my rusty Japanese, I wish FT Island all the best; FT Island, ganbatte!

Flower Rock.

God, I can’t bring myself to remember the last time I squeal like a giddy fan girl who has just survive through several seconds of hyperventilating moments. Come to think about it, it might be months ago. Since I am a crazy fan girl of a Korean band who seems underrated when they have almost all the talents a real boy band really needs, I have to understand that they are producing music not because they want the profits (thus releasing new singles and mini-albums almost the entire year throughout all the twelve damn months) so, real music in the making takes time. Who cares when you get to see five talented and handsome young men with their instruments in the end? You’ll find yourself hyperventilating like never before anyway.

So let’s cut to the real chase. FT Island has released a news about their major Japanese debut, the precise date to be May 19 after they signed under Warner Music Japan in January. The single is awkwardly titled, “Flower Rock”. And now, let us all Primadonna cherish the times when we can’t get enough of the boys through an eleven seconds teaser of their upcoming major debut’s single, “Flower Rock”.

As much as I know that I say this a lot, I have no complains about Hongki and his awesome Honglish. Even when I notice that there is absolutely no microphone and microphone stands anywhere near Seunghyun, I will try not to rant about it (Dammit FNC Music, that kid has an awesome vocal, just give him some lines and a microphone and let him sing already!). Clearly the only thing I am really satisfied about their whole Japanese major debut is their fashion sense (I don’t want to even remember how many times I cringe as I watch them in their horrible fashion sense while staying in Japan in 2008) although, likely, I would love to grab a scissor and just trim those boys’ hair short. Rock doesn’t always mean long, eye-poking hairs, stylists.

Eleven seconds is just to damn short. It wasn’t enough to make me scream. Now, I am very happy that when FT Island states that they are making rock music, the song does come out as a ROCK song. Even as a fan, when they say they are making rock music but end up making angst-ridden sad ballad with a slight guitar riffs that can’t even make it into the pop rock genre, it kind of gets to annoy. Although, “Flower Rock” sounds so great, I find myself not having enough satisfaction through the short eleven seconds. I am not ashamed to admit that, I am freaking loving “Flower Rock” already.

I read in SOOMPI that the music video might be released on May 3 since the date is stated on the teaser while the whole single album will be released on May 19, along with FT Island’s first appearance on a Japan music show. I have to say that I can’t wait, and I mean it. Since FT Island has signed under Warner Music, I have my fingers cross so that the single album will be distributed in Malaysia as well. The only Japanese single albums from FT Island I could find in Malaysia are The One and it cost a damn RM99 that is equivalent to the DVD of “You’re Beautiful”.

So, even with a drastic downfall in Fan Café for FT Island, I am going to be loyal and wait for their upcoming releases. Their Korean comeback is set whether in August or September (some news read August while Leader Choi himself states in his cyworld that it is going to be in September) so come on, if you could wait for a while, why not continue to wait for what FT Island has done best - awesome genuine music (I am sick of autotune already).

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I have found no words to describe this music video. I have no words to say about the amazing Lee Hyori. I think this is the day I am feeling proud of being her fan. I don't care if fuckers stated that she copied Lady Gaga. I found Lady Gaga made me cringe whenever I watched her music videos but I am smiling and dancing along when I watch Lee Hyori's music video.

Damn it, this song is already stuck in my head. I love every part of the music video to bits. Let me make it clear again, I love everything about this song - including its title. Congrats to whoever writes the song, whoever directs the music video and most of all to Lee Hyori for making it such an awesome package overall.

CN Blue Releases 위톨이야 .

Title; CN Blue Releases 위톨이야 .
Side-Note; This Is Highly Addictive, Beware !

I am sorry this is one day late. I got some problem with my laptop ( ah , I am so stupid ) and now I am working with my dad’s computer. I really hope my laptop gets fixed before tomorrow or else I’ll die of boredom.

The long wait has finally paid off.

CN Blue has finally releases the full MV to their debut song, 위롤이야 (I’m a Loner) yesterday, January 14 and if you are not yet a fan, you better watch it and be a fan because it is impossible not to like these four amazing men ( okay , two are just boys ) and that their music is way more amazing that the other two new debuting groups.

Watch the MV right here ; you are allow to hyperventilate as you like.

This is why I loved FNC Music so much. Other than knowing how to make fans wait eagerly ( releases the teasers way earlier for dramatic effects from the fans , right? ) they also know how to use both singing and acting talents in their artistes by creating such a dramatic MV. I think the song fits the MV just perfectly ( just like the song 사랑앓이 fits its MV ) and it was an amazing job done. I love the running scene and the scene where the three members just randomly scream their lungs out. Oh, so does this mean Jungshin is like the main role who passes out those blue diamonds and gathered them together?

OMG , CN Blue’s members are so good-looking, especially Minhyuk and Yonghwa ( I know , I’m biased ) but knowing that I don’t usually fall for drummers, wow, I am pretty much obsessed with them right now. Their music is no joke, for someone who likes Korean indie music, this is a good stuff. No kidding ~ their music is very good. Their voices are awesome and easy to my ears. Love the combination of the upbeat tune and the rap ; everything just blends in nicely.

I like how indie music influences their music – separates them from being compared to their seniors. I am not going to go gaga over them here or else I might need to just make a blog especially for them. Anyway, congratulations to CN Blue for being able to win my heart.

I’ll be waiting for their debut performance on KBS Music Bank on January 15 which is, today.

Burning.

Title: Burning
Side Notes: Hell yes I am burning (because HE is just so HOT ㅋㅋㅋ)
Ah, my first post for 2010, yet I am already posting about my fandom *bows* I am sorry! 죄송함니다!

The so-called second FT Island, though I HATED to call them with the title because they are obviously way different than FT Island especially in terms of music style (CN Blue are more rock-ish kind of music while FT Island is more like, well angsty-emo-ballad) when the only similarities were that they were both from FNC Music (OMG, I just freaking admire whoever works in this company for being able to find good-looking boys who play instruments, 사장님, 감사함니다!) and that they are both bands. Well, as much as I don’t want to point this out, CN Blue seems to be better at Japanese (I freaking LOVE their mini-albums). But FT Island, don’t be sad, you are still my number one craze no matter what happened. It was just; I found a new fandom to be giggling over in my fan-girl mode for 2010, CN Blue.

Watch the BURNING teaser here.
Don’t get me wrong, 외톨이야 (Burning) is the title of their debut song ㅎㅎㅎ

FNC Music is taking a different approach in releasing the teaser. Instead of giving a teaser of the whole band, they are going to release one teaser consist of one member until their debut date on January 14. The first teaser is released today, consisted of Lee Jonghyun; the leader and the guitarist (emm, I am getting more confused when more celebrities with the same name appears ㅠ.ㅠ). The second teaser will be released on January 8, followed by January 11 and the last one January 13, a day before their mini-album is releases. The mini-album title is BLUETORY and don’t ask me why it is called by that title. I think it’s awesome (influenced by bias, of course).

OMG, this is as hot as fire!
*gotshot*

I am freaking love the song based on the teaser. It is very rock-ish, way rocker than FT Island’s emo songs. But wait, this teaser reminded me so much of FT Island’s Heaven MV. Hot boys and fighting sequences, I have no argument against that. Boys always look hot (minus those useless boys from my high school) while fighting. Aww ~ the hotness overloaded *gotchopped* Jonghyun is LOVE! Oh wait, I am already in love with Minhyuk, can’t betray him right now *gotshotagain*. But the song, it is sick man! I have to say I can’t wait for this! I was anticipating F;Cuz and CN Blue both together, but listening to this, gosh, my fan girl rate had just raised up to its maximum level after listening to the teaser. This is like something you’ll listen if you follow Korean Indie (I know I do, sometimes), a very rock sound no idol group (in which I have to sadly said, not even FT Island) had done for quite a long time. Ah, I just got a glimpse of Seo Taiji for no good reason for a while. This is freaking good! The song is just amazingly good from the teaser. I mean it! The beat, everything! This is just an awesome song (oh, like I can tell from the teaser).

Sorry F;Cuz but I had just abandoned you and I’ll be waiting eagerly for more CN Blue action for 2010. Good choice for FNC Music, to release CN Blue when FT Island will be away for their Asia Tour (duh, again!). I can’t wait to see them performing on music shows! Debut faster! Why is January 14 so far away… ㅠ.ㅠ

Minhyuk, I’ll be waiting for your teaser!
*bombed*

I heard that Minhyuk’s teaser is coming out next, on January 8. Gosh, I can’t wait. Why must it be on Friday? Why can’t it be today? 민혁아…!!

This is no joke, seriously. 장난이 아니야 ~ CN Blue already mesmerized me with their Japanese songs and I have a high expectation; knowing that their Korean song will just blow me away. I have no doubt they are going to make it big (as big as their senior, FT Island maybe?) if they continued to perform this kind of songs. Long live rock music! Long live bands! Go and die auto-tune (I am already sick of auto-tunes used in 2009, just hope it got destroy).

I should stop before I got a major nosebleed.
I'll get CN Blue their own tag from now on.
Ah, I should really stop ; my noisy elder brother is coming *sigh*
