Trot Intro & 바래 Performances on MBC Music Core

Most K-Pop fans must had heard about the Summer Break Special on MBC Music Core today, right? Many artistes were making special performances and one performance on this show totally made me laughed so hard, I was yelled by my dad three times. FT Island performed a short (by mean very short) version of 바래 in trot, complete with sparkly outfitted background singers consisted of Hongki (surprised enough?), Minhwan and Seunghyun while Jaejin became the main trot singer who sang in trot intro while Jonghoon played his guitar LIVE. Surprised? Well, I was.

For those who had been crazy over FT Island since their debut should know that Jaejin had always been the one who was asked to sing the trot version of 사랑앓이 before and I had been expecting him to sing the trot version of 바래. Jaejin suit that image of a dorky trot singer very well. What I did not expected was the sparkly outfits, and the three dorks as background singers. They even wore Super Junior T's outfit if I am not wrong. How dorky. Seunghyun in yellow, Minhwan in green, Hongki in pink and Jonghoon in white. All sparkly! I loved it! Not to mention the cute dance by the trio back there, so freaking adorable! If you wondered why Jaejin sounded slightly off-key, well, some Korean trot does sounded off-keys and I don't know why. But just enjoy the short amusing moment of FT Island, will you? It might be hard to see them in this state anymore in the future. FT Island, the trot band, just for a few seconds, it was worth it.

So the usual 바래 performance, one thing I needed to say was that, NICE OUTFITS! Their outfits had been getting better and better, and I am loving what they were wearing for this show. Nice stage setting, but what was wrong with the shaky camera again? It always happened when the cameraman was shooting Minhwan. Learn how to hold a camera properly, won't you cameraman? Well, still, MBC chopped the song short by throwing away Seunghyun's first rap (which caused me to feel like I want to kill the PD responsible) but hey, it was surely a one great performance.

Nice stage, nice outfits, nice setting but not-so-good camera angle, especially when it came to Minhwan's close-up. Anyway, anyone else realized Hongki finally succeeded in hitting those high notes? His vocal was flawless, he hit all the high notes perfectly. I am so proud of our Hongstar! He looked so cute on stage! Jonghoon's solo, he was getting used to make fangirls screamed their hearts out with his glare and gestures, OMG, I swore I was giggling like crazy when it came to his guitar solo. I didn't care if it was hand-sync anymore! Seunghyun with his second rap, he sounded great and not to mention hot with his black hat! Throw away the white berret because he looked super hot in that hat! I love the stylist people for making my baby looked awesome!

Anyway, I am done with my biased review again. Can't wait for tomorrow's SBS 인기가요 because I read some exciting rumors about FT Island having more special performance. But I am hoping it won't be a dissapointment or a lie, because I am already excited about it. I can't wait for tomorrow, still hoping what I read will come true! Now, I am back to being angry at my mom.

She insisted me to follow her to some relatives gathering thingy which I hated. Spoilt my mood for the rest of the day.
