Finally, the day I had been waiting for arrived! FT Island finally appeared on my favorite live music show, KBS 유희열의 스케치북 (KBS Yoo Heeyeol's Sketchbook). My dream finally came true!
Throw away those matching red pants or yellow pants and welcomed in the matching black skinny torn pants. OMG ~ the five boys looked extra hot in yellow and black, despite that they were actually wearing the same outfits from last week's KBS Music Bank's performance. Ah, those tiny legs, I envied those boys for having such beautiful legs. What the hell am I talking about? Two of them were not even legal yet! Seunghyun and Minhwan, forgive this pedo noona! Anyway, pushed away the comments about the outfits because I just loved the boys when they performed LIVE. Fully LIVE, this show gave an ambiance as if they were performing in a club, such small stage and such dark lighting. One thing matter, Jonghoon exchanged place with Jaejin, probably because the PD wanted the guitarists to be together to make setting up the live equipment live easier or what-so-ever. It felt weird to see Jonghoon on Hongki's right side, because he was never placed on Hongki's right side. He was always alone on Hongki's left side.
As always, the LIVE performance was awesome! It was great, it was fabulous! It was flawless and once again, it was perfect. The sound system for this show sounded way more louder than the one on SBS 김정은의 초콜릿. I loved to carefully listen to Seunghyun's guitar riff sound when both him and Jonghoon played different riff tunes during the verses. He sounded good with his guitar, just as good as he when he was rapping. Minhwan got fairly little close-up but slightly better than the previous live music show for sure. Jaejin looked awkward when he was alone on Hongki's left side and when Hongki appeared from back stage after the music was played, it was like BAM, BAM, BAM...here comes the vocalist! Oh, I loved it! I loved everything about this live performance (again) especially Hongki's voice but Jonghoon's solo part, it sounded weird this time though. I am not sure what made it weird, but it just sounded weird to me. Perhaps I am not listening well.
Here is the conversation cut which was shorter, only last for about 03:00 minutes because FT Island was the last performer to perform on that show. Half of this conversation was owned by Minhwan, so obviously it made up for his lack of close up during the performance. They all told the audiences their ages and the audiences were surprised by how young they were, spotted some noonas smiling happily at Jonghoon when he said he was an university student. Yoo Heeyeol, the host made a joke when he mentioned his age too. He was always funny during interviews. I think the host asked something about choosing to play drum or training when Minhwan gave his super long answer before the host asked the boys about how they felt for not having the chance to play live during regular weekly music show. I only understood half of what Hongki said, mentioning he felt bad for his band mate for couldn't play live and Minhwan say something too. Not much of Seunghyun, Junghoon and Jaejin though. But isn't having these boys just standing there and smiled (laughed too) already made Primadonnas went crazy? Another thing I found funny was when the host mentioned FT Island was going to make the final performance, male audiences were those who sounded dissapointed, causing laughter. Perhaps male audiences enjoyed watching band like FT Island performing unlike how female audiences usually enjoyed watching dancing boys.

Again, just like on the previous show, our boys showed their talents in playing live music instruments and singing in English by performing ElleGarden's song Make A Wish. Honglish sounded better this time but because I am not familiar with ElleGarden's song and there was no lyric appearing on screen, I am not sure whether he did very good or just good. But his vocal was awesome and I adored the ad-libs by Jaejin. It sounded so GOOD. Oh my, this performance just got better when the song got hyped and upbeat all over sudden, and the audiences, surprisingly, male audiences jumped along with Hongki as he sang. Looked at Jonghoon and Seunghyun going crazy with their guitars. The camera caught Seunghyun playing his guitar handsomely, it caused me to giggle in happiness to see him all mighty fiine. Poor Jaejin, still didn't got much close up. Hongki was so hyper, so jumpy around the stage. My mom said this kind of song showed how hyper these boys were on stage. She was right, the boys were so hyped up during this final performance. This cover sounded perfect but I still prefer their cover of Blur's Song 2. Still, good job! The boys were happy to perform live with their instruments and if I am not wrong, Hongki likes ElleGarden right? He mentioned it before on Hangul Island or was it on Narara Jambbong? Or was it from an interview? I can't remember!
Overal, FT Island's live performances on KBS 유희열의 스케치북 were awesome!
I don't know when I will have another chance to watch the boys performing live again on TV shows but I prayed they will soon. I can't get enough after watching two 바래 live performances. Oh, perhaps performing for MBC Music Lalala? I saw this show's name in their schedule for August. The boys are working hard nowadays. Packed schedules and busy lives, I hoped the five boys get enough rest. No more FT Island's boy rushed to the hospital please!
