On Saturday night, while I was inside my bedroom, typing on the latest chapter of my fanfic alone, I heard my younger sister calling me from the living room. I approached her and she told me that the lead vocalist of this band of I happened to go gaga over in between 2003 and 2004 (that might be three or four years before I become a fan of Korean entertainment) has died in a car accident. Seriously, if you have been living with my younger sister for seventeen years, you won’t believe anything she said even if she told what she has seen on TV. She isn’t the best person to trust on news.
But hey, I got her wrong this time. The next morning while I was getting ready to go out for some shopping spree, my elder sister sent me a text message telling me the same exact thing my younger sister has told me. I guess I really could trust her anyway. It was true - the lead vocalist of the band I used to really love died in an accident on Saturday evening. I was so in shock because it just happened that a week earlier I was having this conversation with my mother while in the kitchen about the lead vocalist.
Life is pretty much amusing. It could give a lot today and take everything back again tomorrow. Death is much more promising because it will never break it promises - it never betrays, it will come. I sent my condolences to the family of the celebrity for this painful lost. May ALLAH bless him. We are just human beings - sooner or later we will all decay in memories. I just can’t believe this is happening - even when I am no longer an avid fan, it still somehow, feels weird.
World is just one massive wheel. Humans are taking turns to return back to eternity. All us all Malaysian, whether you are a fan of the celebrity or not, just send our Al-Fatihah so that ALLAH would place him in between the people who are faithful.
