Lately, I haven’t been buying many accessories—cutting down the buying of necklaces, earrings and bracelets altogether. I admitted I have shifted my interest into heels and handbags lately too. But, I really want to buy something that I have been craving for about several months. I really like it and I really want it—but it doesn’t seem like my financial crisis could solve this craving just yet.
I want an owl charm with a long necklace—just like the one in the posted picture.
I’d saw this owl motive on LITMUS CF in 2009 and fell instantly in love with it. I have been searching for the right owl charm and long necklace but haven’t found one that suits my taste and my weird interest with things that looked weird to mom but I have finally found one recently.
There’s a booth inside the nearest shopping mall in my town which sold the exact owl charm I have been looking for. It sold for RM 19.90 (and in USD it costs only $4.95—of which I am embarrassed to admit). But, now that my wallet is literally empty (and believe me, I am not exaggerating, I am being serious), I don’t think I could get one anytime soon.
Perhaps I should get one for my charity dinner event. I have been thinking about just wearing a formal pink baju kurung (if I am able to find one) but my friends insist on wearing something fashionable (as if baju kurung isn’t) like dresses and cardigans. Oh girls, I can’t find one my size, excuse me. But well, we’ll see about that. I just can’t wait to take out my killer heels out from the cupboard and off to strut my way to the charity event.
I need to get this financial crisis over soon. I need to control my spending or else, I am doomed to suffer this crisis until I graduate, and that will only be in 2013.
