Today ISN'T A GOOD DAY for me at home.

My dad got a day off from work.
Not that is a bad thing ; but whenever one of my parents is home,
I felt as if I am watched.
I loved having them at home - but only on weekends.
Usually, my dad will get a day off from work to do other errands.
And even during his day off, he was never home.
So it always felt as if he was always working outdoor.
It felt weird to have them calling me to do this and that on weekdays.
They should go to work ; but when they are at home,
I felt insecure about everything.

Even sitting alone inside my bedroom felt weird,
Because my dad will be knocking on my door every 30 minutes.
I never knew my dad would actually do this.
But it gets annoying after six times - kept on knocking on the door, dad!
I should just get some sleep to avoid getting more annoyed.

Maybe this happen because I am used to be home ALONE during weekdays.
I am used to be the only one person inside my home from Monday to Friday.
But this doesn't mean I hate my parents.
NO!

I love having them at home - but not when they are taking off days.
I just can't get use of having them at home on weekdays.
On weekends will be perfectly fine.

Ah ~ another reason for the almost-ranting post.
But this doesn't have anything to do with my bad day at home.
It actually put a smile on my face today.

Yeah, that was from Jangsu Red Apple Festival 2009.
Where FT Island first have their performance, WITHOUT LEE HONGKI.

I didn't want to embed the performance of 바래,
Because I could only found the one from a fancam.
This is a performance of 빙빙빙 - first without HONGKI.

See how weird it is?
In late 2007/early 2008, I'd seen several photos of their performance,
Without LEE JAEJIN.
Than in early 2009, we'd seen performance of FT Island the drummer,
CHOI MINHWAN.
Again, in mid 2009, we all noticed the absent of FT Island's bassist,
LEE JAEJIN.
And for the first time in my life as an FT Island's performance (maybe just me),
I watched FT Island having a performance without it's vocalist,
LEE HONGKI.

Doesn't it feel weird?
Okay, I am fine with Jaejin's position as the main vocalist in place of Hongki,
But he surely needs more practice,
Especially on those high notes.
His voice is too soothing - perhaps explained that he was casted in a musical anyway.
But his voice is fine ; there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Seunghyun - as much as I am biased over him,
He needs EVEN MORE practices.
He did fine in 바래 though.
The lines he sings in that performance was fine.
But during 빙비빙 ; there is something missing about his performance.
I am not sure what, but it felt as if something was wrong.
Perhaps it maybe his polka-dots shirt.
HAHA!

FT Island isn't a four members group.
Without any of those 5 boys - it feels incomplete.
Okay, they are doing fine without one on a none-live performance.
But they FIVE TREASURE ISLAND.
They aren't FIVE TREASURE ISLAND without any one of them.

My mom however, was impressed at how the four boys are doing fine without Hongki.
Since she was always torn between Hongki and Seunghyun,
When she saw no Hongki on stage,
She was very surprised and praised how good Jaejin was.
Well mom, perhaps you have to add Jaejin into your favorite member of FT Island list now.

But the good thing is that they are having more attention now that the face of FT Island, Lee Hongki is absent because of his drama filming.
Not that it is good not to have Hongki - NO!
We all need a dosage of the super dorky vocalist, Hongstar once in a while.

It is good to have other members out there - like my elder sister always said,
"Hongki gets too much attention, it is time for the four boys of FT Island to stand out more, to show everyone that they aren't just capable of hand-sync their performance, to prove that they have talents, probably for variety show?"

A little cruel, but a good point from an almost-fangirl of FT Island, huh?

Seunghyun and Jonghoon are doing fine with MBC 지금은 꽃미남시대 시즌2.
Jaejin is getting better as the replacement of Hongki's position.
Though Minhwan isn't appearing much, I think he will soon.

It is kind of refreshing to have them more now.
Knowing that they will appear for KBS Chuseok Special (in which the name of the show I often get wrong) without Hongki,
I am eager to know what kind of performance they are going to show.
